The Almighty Dragon General

Perthacus could see the intense look in James' eyes. “Are you alright, young man?"
James snapped out of his reverie and shook his head. "It's nothing. Rest assured, I'll make it to join the Forladtt Trial!"
Then, James teleported and vanished from the spot.
Perthacus was left standing there with a slightly awkward expression on his face.
As the leader of Mount Martialis, Perthacus might not have much say in the general affairs of the Timaeus Sect. Still, he was a
respected leader with great influence among Mount Martialis' members.
However, Perthacus constantly found himself feeling humbler around James. Even Perthacus was shocked as he had a dawning
realization.
Meanwhile, James had teleported to the spiritual mountain where his new residence was located.
Under Xzavion, Stephen, and Quattro's supervision, hundreds of Mount Martialis' members were carrying out different tasks.
"You're back, Dragon General!" Quattro skipped toward James and greeted him cheerfully. He was the first to spot James.
Xzavion and Stephen walked over to James with concerned gazes. They were worried that Perthacus might have punished
James for having defeated Truett.
Both of them were relieved when they saw that James was well and unharmed.
"Are you all happy with our new place?" James asked.
Xzavion, Stephen, and Quattro exchanged gazes briefly. Then, they smiled and nodded.

Quattro, in particular, was very pleased.
Coincidentally, two beautiful female members happened to pass by them. Quattro lightly pinched their cheeks and grinned
broadly.
James soon noticed the main hall was located not too far away. He brought the others along and headed for the main hall's
entrance.
Once they were inside, James told Xzavion and the others about the Beauregard Test and the Forladtt Trial.
"Only twenty people can make it through?" Quattro complained, "There are probably tens of thousands of Timaeus Sect's
members that have reached the Yuraeceon Xaelm Rank's First to Seventh Tribulation at the moment.
“Yet they'll pick only twenty people out of the bunch! Can you imagine how fierce the competition will get?"
"Shut up, Quattro!" Stephen rolled his eyes. "Are you going to give up before giving it a try?"
"I'm just stating the facts." Quattro retorted, "We've all achieved only the Yuraeceon Xaelm Rank's First Tribulation. How are we
going to win against stronger and faster opponents? Not all of us are as talented as the Dragon General. You'll have to admit
that!"
Stephen was rendered speechless by his words.
On the other hand, James directed his gaze at Xzavion. "Xzavion, what do you think?"
Xzavion drew a long breath. "With your powers, you should have no issue securing a spot for the Forladtt Trial. The problem lies
with the three of us."

He looked at Stephen and Quattro. "We still have ten epochs left until the test. Let's check how many Genesis Cores we have
and see if we can get one of us to reach the Yuraeceon Xaelm Rank's Second or Third Tribulation before the test takes place."
"It's best if we can get another person to qualify for the Forladtt Trial as well so that they can help James."
James nodded as he listened to Xzavion's words.
He had reached the same conclusion too. However, the problem was who should they choose to help with the leveling-up this
time.
All three of them had helped James during various difficult or dangerous situations. They needed to consider carefully to make
things fair for everyone this time.
"I'll do it!" Quattro leapt to his feet. "I will do everything in my power to protect the Dragon General!"
James and the others simply ignored him.
Quattro was the weakest and the most unreliable member out of the four of them. Bringing him along was akin to taking a ticking
time bomb to the battlefield. They could never tell when Quattro might cause trouble again.
According to Perthacus, the Forladtt Land was a mysterious place with unpredictable dangers. James might even have trouble
protecting himself there. If they were to send Quattro there, he might not even last long inside that ancient battlefield.
