Truett was about to rush toward the Calidum Spiritual Tree but was pulled back by James. "Forty-nine..."
"Be patient," James advised him, then raised his head.
"You've been following US for so long. Now that we've arrived at the Calidum Spiritual Tree, it's about time you confess."
James' group was stunned by his words.
Truett looked at him in confusion and asked, "What are you talking about?"
James quickly flashed in front of Truett, Xitlaly and the other members of his group. He shielded them behind him and cast a
glance at Whitaker, who was strangely silent.
"There's an extremely cunning and dangerous person in our team right now."
Everyone followed James' gaze and fixed their eyes on Whitaker.
Whitaker raised his head and stared at James with bloodshot eyes. "What do you mean, Forty-nine?"
James glared at him and questioned coldly, "Who are you? Did Xachary and Lyla send you, or are you from a different sect of
the Three Thousand Great Genesis Worlds?"
Truett and the others were dumbfounded by James' words.
Whitaker's face darkened, and he replied, "You've gone too far, Forty-nine. You've already cursed me and can control my every
move. What else do you want?"

James said solemnly, "It's precisely because of my Curse Magic that I can expose you. I didn't curse you, but you put on an act
just now."
"N-Nonsense," Whitaker refuted, slowly distancing himself from James.
James sneered, "I can read the thoughts of the living beings I've cursed. However, I can't get anything from you. There are only
two possibilities. Either the curse didn't work on you, or dispelled my curse."
James slowly stepped forward and continued, saying, "Living beings at the same cultivation rank as me aren't capable of
resisting my curse. Nobody below the Yuraeceon Daelm Rank's Third Tribulation should be able to."
Truett asked surprisedly, "Are you saying Whitaker hid his strength? Is he a powerhouse above the Yuraeceon Daelm Rank's
Third Tribulation?"
James said coldly, "That's impossible. He went through the Yorean Wind with us. Even if he had consumed an elixir to seal his
core, it's impossible for him to have recovered so soon."
Truett asked, 'Then why isn't he cursed?"
James glared at Whitaker, who was slowly retreating. Then, he replied, "It's because he's also from the Dark Genesis World and
is proficient in our inscriptions and Curse Magic."
Truett and the others gasped at the revelation.
James looked at Whitaker and said, "Long time no see, old friend. Should I call you Xayvion or Whitaker?"
Whitaker distanced himself more, then suddenly sneered, "I've already completely reformed myself. I wasn't expecting you to be
able to recognize me so easily, James."
James smiled faintly and said, "We've been enemies for so long. I've been hunting you down for so long, but you also did
whatever it took to escape. After you've consumed Xayal's powers, you must've improved a lot, right? Will you still try to run from
me?"
Whitaker raised his head and laughed, "You're so smart, James. You knew from the very beginning, huh? To expose me, you
deliberately chased away your wife. Do you really think you can prevent her from getting caught up in this matter?"
