“The dangers found in the holy site could easily be more overwhelming than
those existing in the outside world."
Yegor heaved a long breath. "Can you really bring yourself to send them in there,
though?"
"That..."
Sensing Herodias' hesitation, the Celestial Sage quickly reasoned, "Lady
Herodias, we can't protect these kids forever.
"They need to grow and overcome challenges on their own to become
exceptional cultivators.”
"I disagree.” The Earthly Sage snorted. "The youngsters have only improved their
cultivation so far. I won't agree to plans that will risk their lives."
The two ladies out of the four teachers had expressed their disapproval. Yegor
and the Celestial Sage could only stare at each other helplessly at the moment.
Unintentionally, Herodias and the Earthly Sage would be overly protective of
Maxine and the others due to their maternal instincts.
Their opinions were also hard to refute since the concerns over the youngsters’
safety were valid.
Still, the Celestial Sage and Yegor felt that one must experience various difficult
situations dealing with life and death to grow into a superb and capable cultivator.
No matter how talented these youngsters were, they would not improve further if
they were to stay under Skynet's protection forever.
"How about this?" Yegor sighed softly. "We'll ask Truett and Xitlaly to arrange for
these three to fight with the lustus Sect's top cultivators for training purposes at
the lustus Sect.
"Then, we'll send them to the Forladtt Land. We can ask Lyla and Rebella to give
the youngsters some training.
"If the three of them could take more than ten thousand attacks from Lyla and
Rebella, we should be able to let them venture out of Skynet for training."
The Celestial Sage lifted his gaze. "That's a good idea! Skynet, the lustus Sect,
the Sanctum Genesis World, and the Xyndaros Genesis World are all connected.
"We are also in the midst of war with the other sects. This could be an
opportunity for them to observe how merciless a battle could get. It'll also be a
test of their wit and grit."
As he was saying that, the Celestial Sage could see Yegor signaling to him with a
slight nod.
Before Herodias and the Earthly Sage could give any response, he cast a golden
light at the three youngsters and took them along as he teleported away.
“Hey! How could he bring them away just like that?" Herodias grumbled, “We
didn't even get to say our goodbyes." “That guy can be quite impulsive
sometimes." The Earthly Sage said hurriedly, “I should go after them.
Otherwise..."
“You should stay." Yegor cut the Earthly Sage off.
“I didn't want to bring it up in front of the kids earlier. You two are just too
protective of them. That is not a good thing for their growth.
“I know you are doing all this for James. However, to actually help them improve."
“Stop." Herodias interrupted him, “Even if they weren't related to James, I would
still be concerned about these lovely kids. So, stop making it out as if we think
the same as you do."
The Earthly Sage agreed, “That's right. Yegor, you can be so cold-hearted at
times."
Yegor was rendered speechless by their remarks.
“Alright, let's discuss urgent matters first.” Herodias let out a sigh.
“There's still no news from Mr. Clayton. We only have eight entrapochs’ time to
save James. However, Mr. Clayton is still doing things at an old man’s pace!"
Yegor remained silent as he listened to Herodias' complaints.
At that very moment, a murderous energy shot through the air and headed for
where Yegor and the others were standing.
Clayton, Jacopo, and Xainte materialized in the distance the next instant.
Clayton began, “Herodias, you shouldn't talk bad about me behind my back."
