Light Thea’s eyes were filled with sorrow.
"Perhaps we won't be able to see each other again, but I will always think of you.
I'll pray for you to become stronger."
As she was about to pull away from James, the still unconscious man grabbed
Light Thea's hand tightly and refused to let go.
Light Thea felt a lump in her throat. "I want to stay and be with you forever, but..."
Before she could finish, a deafening explosion went off in the air above the hall.
As she looked up, Light Thea could see three forms of power had collided with
the black and white energy released by Tai Chi.
Still, she knew that there was no stopping Tai Chi even if Clayton, Yegor, and
Herodias worked together to fight her.
Light Thea's gaze fell on James again. "Forty-nine, I must go now. It's almost
time."
As she was saying that, numerous black and white threads of light moved into
the hall through the roof and twirled around Light Thea's limbs.
The threads pulled her away, but James was still gripping Light Thea's hand
firmly.
i will miss you, Forty-nine. I am forever yours."
As the threads around her glowed brighter, Light Thea called out through sobs,
"You're the one I want to spend the rest of my life with!"
She disappeared the next instant as the black and white threads shone with a
blinding light and faded away gradually.
Simultaneously, the Heavenly Path Power around James vanished as well.
Meanwhile, James’ Ultimate Golden Body was shining with a black and white
light. A circle of purplish-red halo could be seen around him.
James appeared like a demon lord as the wind blew in his red hair.
Clayton had rushed into the hall at the time. He cast a beam of light onto James,
and a new robe appeared over James' body instantly.
Yegor and Herodias had also entered the hall.
The three of them had puzzled looks on their faces as they watched James, who
was still spinning slowly in the air.
"Why is he still not awake?" Herodias asked.
"He still needs some time to adjust to his current body," Yegor explained and
produced a glass bottle.
He hurled the glass bottle in James' direction.
The bottle expanded to a gigantic size enough to fit James inside. As James was
encased in the bottle, the righteous aura filled the space inside almost
instantaneously.
Clayton and Herodias were astonished by the sight of that.
Yegor continued, “The Righteous Aura Bottle is a precious item. It will replenish
James’ energy if he stays in there for an entrapoch." "What about his cultivation?”
Herodias asked, "Didn't he lose all of his cultivation?" "That's not a serious issue."
Clayton responded, "He possesses the Golden Bones and the Ultimate Golden
Body. James also doesn't have to go through the Heavenly Tribulations anymore.
"It will only be a matter of time for him to build up his cultivation. The problem is
when will he regain consciousness?" "Are you in a rush?" Yegor looked at
Clayton.
Clayton sighed and shrugged. "It's not me who is in a rush. I'm just afraid that
person won't be able to wait that long."
Yegor asked curiously, "Who is that person? You're even willing to do so much
forthem.”
Clayton remained silent. It was obvious he had no intention of divulging any
information.
Yegor cast a glance at James. He could tell that there was probably a new
opportunity waiting for James from Clayton's attitude.
Yegor did not want to see James lose the chance just because he did not wake
up in time.
After a brief pause, Yegor extended his hands. A tremendous amount of
righteous aura enveloped James.
After that, four shiny orbs materialized before Yegor’s chest. Then, the orbs flew
toward James.
Those four orbs spun around James for a few seconds. Eventually, they were
absorbed into James’ body.
