The Almighty Dragon General

Chapter 6529

"Nonsense. Who's injured? "We just missed out on a chance to reach the Daeclon Rank.

We're just trying to come to terms with it," Princess Lumia retorted, her eyes flashing with irritation.

"Sigh! Why did the Dark World's Demon have to be Forty-nine? Why couldn't it have been Yaquis or Nando instead?" Matias shook his head frustratedly. Hearing their exchange, Wayra settled to the ground and snorted

contemptuously, "Weren't you two the ones so set on letting him go? Are you regretting it already?"

Matias rolled his eyes, and replied, "I simply can't bring myself to be someone with ingratitude. My Grand Patriarch warned me that if I did something like that, even if I were to reach the Daeclon Rank, I would never reach the Daeclon Mahayana Rank."

Wayra scoffed, "That's absurd. Then, how did someone so wicked like Yaquis surpass us in cultivation?" 'You're so clueless. Before the Daeclon Rank, one has to rely on talent and luck. However, after entering the Daeclon Rank, one's past deeds will play a great part and one will have to confront past misdeeds. Even a peerless powerhouse won't be able to overcome a deed like ingratitude. No matter how many times they undergo reincarnation, reaching the Daeclon Rank's Daeclon Mahayana Rank."

Wayra snorted, "I get it. You two didn't really want to let him go, but are just afraid of hindering your path to reaching the Daeclon Mahayana Rank."

Matias and Princess Lumia exchanged a glance, choosing not to argue with Wayra.

Suddenly, Wayra urged, "Alright, time to get up. Our troops are still awaiting our return. We have to quickly erase their memories, otherwise, our sects will be wiped out if what happened just now is discovered."

With his prompting, Princess Lumia and Matias rose to their feet.

They attempted to leave but crashed into an invisible barrier and rebounded backward.

Princess Lumia had a bewildered expression as she gasped, "Where the hell did Forty-nine teleport US to? Why is there a barrier here?" "Let me try again."

Wayra extended his hand and summoned his Genesis.

Then, he charged toward the barrier.

With a resounding thud, he was knocked away once more.

"Are you alright?" Matias supported Wayra, confusion etched on his face.

"Fuck off. I'm fine." Wayra spat out a mouthful of blood, then promptly sat in a

lotus position to heal his wounds.

Princess Lumia and Matias were taken aback after seeing Wayra severely

injured from slamming into the barrier.

"What's happening? Forty-nine is only at the Fifth Quasi Daeclon Rank. How could he trap US here?" Princess Lumia was anxious.

"Are we doomed to be imprisoned here forever?" Matias also expressed his

concern.

Suddenly, a disembodied, commanding voice echoed from the void, "You three are noble and righteous people who can't be ensnared by temptation, so why are you trapped?"

Princess Lumia and Matias turned towards the source simultaneously, their expressions filled with astonishment.

"Isn't that Forty-nine's voice?" Princess Lumia exclaimed, her hand covering her mouth in shock.

"But didn't he already leave? Why can we still hear him?" Matias' eyes widened. Wayra, who was healing his wounds, said with furrowed brows, "He played us." "He played US?" Princess Lumia and Matias repeated in disbelief.
