The Almighty Dragon General

After hearing Harlan's comments, Thea lifted her head and took a deep breath. "I don't care about being labeled a demon. However, I'm worried about James' future. If I were to seize control of Hokuwn, he'd forsake his chance to become the Supreme Path."
Harlan burst into laughter.
Thea scowled. "Why are you laughing? Do you find this amusing?"
Harlon replied," Indeed. It's pretty amusing to me. You're the Yin governor,
renowned for being wise. Yet, you're being foolish right now."
"The position as Supreme Path is a mere title. If one possesses great strength, why bother with a superficial position?
"If being the Supreme Path gave one complete control over the Greater Realms, how did the previous Supreme Path perish without a trace?
"To be honest, unless you can completely regulate the Three Treasures and Five Spirits, becoming the Supreme Path will still not grant you immortality or invincibility."
Thea remained silent, offering no counterargument.
She was already aware of everything he mentioned, but she made her decisions based on the person she loved. She did not care what happened to her but could not risk her husband's future.
"Your inner demon has already surfaced a long time ago. You harbor deep hatred toward Yehria, and this resentment can't be resolved. Even if you were to kill her, will your anger truly be extinguished? Will you finally find a sense of belonging? "Unfortunately, that won't happen. If you don't accept my inheritance, Hokuwn will vanish. Your resentment will remain unresolved, and you will never be able to accompany your husband on his cultivation journey.
"It hasn't been easy for you both, bearing misfortunes and coming this far together. All you desire is to live together, but your fate has been sealed because you're the Yin governor. You can't expect an ordinary and tranquil life like others. "If you don't confront and eliminate Zymurgy's hypocrites and the Five Path Emperors, how can you ever live in peace? Will they ever allow you such a life?" Thea's eyes snapped open, and she said, "The tree wants to be still, but the wind refuses to cease..."
Harlan stated again, "You have no choice. To become a demon or walk a bright cultivation path can be decided in just a thought, which you can find in the Hokuwn.
"If you and your husband can overthrow Zymurgy and the Five Path Emperors, you'll hold the reins of power. What you declare righteous will be acknowledged as such, and what you label as corrupt will be recognized as such. You will have the authority to redefine and shape the new order.
"There will be no strict terms or restrictions. You'll be free to do as you please and finally realize your deepest desires."
Thea remained unmoved by Harlan's persuasive speech. She understood that Harlan's desires colored his words, and he would say almost anything to convince her into a position that suited his needs. If she were to agree, the consequences were potentially unimaginable.
She looked at the projection within the light mass, and a significant moment unfolded before her eyes. James and his companions were conversing with the Celestial and Earthly Sages.
Thea gritted her teeth and slowly knelt on one knee. "Okay, I'll do it. But, I have a condition."
"I'm imparting my inheritance to you, but you're negotiating terms with me?" Harlan was furious.
Thea asked coldly, "Yes or no?"
Harlan replied helplessly, "Okay, fine."
"No matter what the situation is in the future, Hokuwn will never stand opposing
my husband, nor will I force him to join me."
Harlan sighed. "This...you're very cautious."
Thea urged, "Answer me."
