Chapter 7193
Goyo asked doubtfully, "Did James really only use half of his strength to defeat me"
"Yes," Thea affirmed.
Struggling to sit up in his weakened state, Goyo found himself unable to move his body at all. In desperation, his soul swiftly departed from his physical body and sped towards James with alarming speed.
"Wow, the old man had a backup plan," James remarked, surprised by Goyo's tactic.
Goyo roared, "How could it only be half of your strength? It had to be all your strength!"
James chuckled, wrapped his arms around Thea's waist, and said, "This old man is persistent. You should talk to him, Honey."
Thea pinched James' back lightly and said, "Don't be disrespectful to him. He's not like Xanthakos."
She proceeded to explain James' main self of Path and Zenthur Anonymous Rank to Goyo.
Goyo's soul stood stunned for a long while, motionless as if struck to the core. After some time, Goyo staggered back several steps and slumped to the ground. It seemed he could not immediately accept the truth. In his understanding, even the highest attainment among Alcide beings only reached the Daeclon
Mahayana.
Amongst those who reached the Daeclon Mahayana, strength was determined by practice, mastery of Supernatural Powers, and combat
experience. The concept of the main self of Path and Zenthur Anonymous Rank was entirely foreign to him.
Even as the strongest of the Greater Realms, Goyo was only capable of merging clones and his Primordial Spirits into 81 forms. He had never encountered the notion of two main bodies before.
Observing Goyo's stunned reaction, James and Thea let him process without interruption. After all, the truth was not easy to digest.
Meanwhile, atop a mountain in the Xanadu Realm enveloped in black and white energy, three enigmatic figures, whose faces obscured by swirling gas, observed the events within the Gate of Annonymous.
A man with red hair asked, "Isn't he improving too rapidly?"
Another white-haired old man sighed and said, "It's insane. In our Nothingness Daoism, the Zenthur Rank doesn't exist. He is defying our Daoisms."
The beautiful woman seated among them raised her head slowly and said," Why must everything in the Haleth Realm adhere to our Daoisms? Can they not innovate?"
The red-haired man said solemnly, "Our Daoism treasures three virtues, kindness, frugality, and humility. If they break free from our Nine Daoisms and assert independence, what then what offense did the Waitara Path commit?" The white-haired old man said, "But that's not the crux. The issue is that the Haleth Realm must unify fully before the Xyrisia Gate opens. Otherwise, how will it resist the Shadowbom?"
"The gap between US and the Xyloria Shadowborn is vast already. And now, at such a critical juncture..." began the red-haired man.
"Enough," Frona declared firmly. "He is my chosen master, and certain matters are not for your deliberation or concern. I trust he can uphold our Daoism. Even if the Five Shadowborns strike together, he can handle it." With that final statement, the beautiful woman waved her hand, and the projection of the Gate of Annonymous vanished abruptly.
In the next instant, she too dissolved into a swirling ball of white energy and vanished.
The red-haired man sighed heavily. "Frona is exceedingly biased towards this boy, given her position as leader of the Nine Creation Gods. We may need to intervene."
"Let's see how it goes first." The white-haired old man shook his head.
The next moment, they disappeared from the spot.
