Chapter 7205
With a sudden, muffled sound, Quintus lunged forward, stabbing Quentyn in the lower back with a dagger.
Quentyn trembled, turning around in disbelief.
Xanthakos also glared sharply at Quintus, completely taken aback by the situation.
"I..." Quintus panicked, shouting, "How could you betray Emperor Qadeer and side with James? He's not even a match against you. He's a defeated foe. How can he compare to Emperor Qadeer?
"You've gone mad, absolutely mad. I won't allow anyone to betray Emperor Qadeer, not even you!"
With a roar, Quintus pulled the dagger from Quentyn's back and aimed for his head.
Bang!
Quentyn countered, thrusting his palm forward. Quintus was instantly sent flying upon impact. The force of the blow sent Quintus hurtling towards the barrier of Jawdat Region.
Xanthakos waved his hand, enveloping Quintus in a shroud of Nothingness Dead Energy, halting his fall just before he hit the formation.
The next moment, he fumed, "You've truly gone insane, Quentyn! We're sworn brothers who made vows to stand through thick and thin together! Yet you tried to kill him?"
Quentyn sneered, "Sworn brothers? Can he really be considered a brother when he stabbed me in the back, who flatters and sycophants, who aids and abets your tyrannies?"
Xanthakos pointed at Quentyn, taking two steps back slowly. "Very well. It seems you've forgotten our brotherhood for James. Despite enduring so much in the Forty-Ninth Heaven, I saved only you two at the crucial moment.
"What kind of spell did James cast on you to make you so loyal that you
disregard our years of brotherhood with US?"
Quentyn took a deep breath, about to speak when he felt a searing pain from his lower back. He staggered, retreating several steps before steadying himself, feeling weak and collapsing to the ground.
He reached for his wound, and upon seeing his blood turn black, he understood the meaning behind Quintus's treacherous stab.
Enduring the pain, he crushed a radiant jade scroll in his hand, sending a beam of golden light shooting down toward the Forty-Ninth Heaven.
Seeing this, Quintus, still within the shroud of Nothingness Dead Energy, shouted, "Your Highness, he's signaling James. You must stop him!"
Yet, Xanthakos remained still, watching the beam disappear before taking a deep breath.
"Abandoning such grand ambitions for nothing. You must be eager to die."
Quentyn said through gritted teeth, "You asked what kind of spell he had cast on me. Let me answer you. He is the Chosen One, embraced by all living beings. He is also the Greater Realms' master, supported by their Spiritual Providence.
"He entered Zymurgy, not for power or ambition, but to seek justice for all beings, to forge a path for all to pursue cultivation.
"That's why the likes of Yianni, Harper, and even the Morgott have submitted to him. He received the legacies of Chuba and Zemra.
"He genuinely fights for the Greater Realms' beings. Compared to you, he is so much more bolder, determined, and knows what he wants."

Faced with Quentyn's furious rebuke, Xanthakos opened his mouth but found
himself at a loss for words. He had nothing to refute.
