Chapter 7207
Meanwhile, James had arrived at the Goyoan Temple.
Amid the shattered walls and ruins, corpses lay scattered everywhere, blood flowed like rivers, and a mist of blood filled the air, creating a scene of utter
carnage.
For the Alcide beings and the treacherous divine beings who had taken over this place, Goyo showed no mercy, slaughtering them all.
Even when the traitors panicked and begged for mercy upon his arrival, Goyo's disciples and followers continued their ruthless massacre without hesitation. Betrayal is a one-way path. Any ruler with ambition knew that in a life-or-death struggle, there could be no leniency.
"This is quite a bloodbath." James sighed as he stood in the main hall of the temple.
"Are you being so ruthless to intimidate me?"
Goyo shook his head and replied solemnly, "No, of course not! Sometimes cleaning up requires drastic measures."
With that, he waved his hand and shouted, "Everyone, clean up the mess!" Following his command, a large number of Goyo's disciples and followers rushed in. With tens of thousands of flashes of light, the once-bloody scene was quickly
tidied up.
Only then did Goyo make a gesture inviting James, then he walked to his main
seat.
James, holding Thea's hand, sat down. Suddenly, Goyo was surrounded by black and white rays, and a gate appeared behind him.
"Please wait a moment," Goyo said, and then he entered the door.
Thea gently nudged James. "How credible is Goyo?"
James shrugged and answered, "It doesn't matter. I won't judge him by what he says, only by what he does."
Just as he finished speaking, a purple-gold light suddenly shot towards him, which he caught in his hand.
"What is it?" Thea asked suspiciously.
James examined the purple-gold light with his Zen, and his expression suddenly changed.
"What happened?" Thea sensed something was wrong.
"Quentyn...Quentyn has fallen. It was his final message." James sighed with
sorrow.
As he spoke, the purple-gold light in his hand transformed into a jade slip, which floated to Thea.
After quickly reading the contents, Thea looked up abruptly and said," According to Quentyn's message, Xanthakos is already in the Jawdat Region. He intends to pass through the Nine Caeloros Temples and enter the Wuia Palace." James slowly stood up, looking out toward the Goyoan Temple's main entrance. "It seems Xanthakos is more cunning and smarter than I thought. It's a pity to lose Quentyn. He was such a loyal and righteous person, devoted to the safety and future of all living beings."
Thea could see that James was deeply saddened. Ever since the great battle against the Evil Gods, he had not shown such emotion. Quentyn held a place of great respect in his heart.
She stood up and hugged James from behind. "Don't be sad. If you can resolve the Leere Tribulation and become the master of the Haleth Realm, you might have a chance to revive him."
James turned around abruptly, gripping Thea's shoulders. "Really?" Thea nodded and answered, "Yeah. Quentyn has high accomplishments in cultivation and doesn't vanish completely right away. As long as some part of him
remains in the Haleth Realm, there's a chance to resurrect him."
James squinted his eyes, gritting his teeth. "Good! Since Xanthakos has already taken action, I see no need to keep pretending."
At that moment, Goyo hurried out from the door.
"I know about the Jawdat Region!"
James released Thea and scrutinized the approaching Goyo.
Thea asked urgently, "Do you have a way to get there?"
Goyo shook his head and said, "No. However, if the information you've received
is accurate, it just cleared up a doubt I've had."
