There was an unreadable expression on Frona's face as she watched Lesia prostrate herself on the floor and plead desperately.
It was hard to tell whether she was feeling displeased or sorry for Lesia.
After some time, she finally lifted her hand.
A mass of black and white gases surrounded Lesia's form instantly.
In a matter of seconds, Lesia's injuries were completely healed. The pain in her bruised, swollen forehead was miraculously gone as well. Lesia paused and lifted her head. "Caeloros Supreme..."
"Do you even remember who your real master is?" Frona stared at her intently. "It's me! James isn't your master! I am!"
"You're my main self. He's my master."
Lesia replied in a low voice, "I am your Soremsia and his second body. You and I are the same. That makes you a part of him too."
"Nonsense!" Frona shot Lesia a glare. "If you were his second body, why didn't you fulfill your responsibilities?"
Lesia fell silent.
"I get it. You don't think he should be in charge of governing the Haleth Realm as well." Frona closed her eyes.
"He's an honest, respectable, and free-spirited man," Lesia explained. "He does not want to be put under the constraints of the Path and Daoisms." Frona snapped, "Yet, you chose him for all of us!"
"I am completely at fault." Lesia drew a long breath. "That is why I am doing everything I can to make up for it."
Frona responded, "Yet, your attempt to fix everything is the very reason why he has been overwhelmed by his inner demon."
Lesia seemed extremely guilt-ridden as she lowered her head silently.
Frona let out a deep sigh and closed her eyes.
She had just confirmed that the Soremsia formed from her Solm Primordial Spirit had very different thoughts and opinions from hers.
She, the main self, could no longer fully control her Soremsia, who possessed her own consciousness now.
Frona could not help but wonder if James truly had so much charm and charisma to win over her Soremsia.
After a few moments' consideration, Frona raised her hand and conjured a tower glowing with black and white lights on her palm. Xristian rushed over as soon as he spotted the tower.
"Caeloros Supreme, that's your Natal Tower! What are you trying to do with it?"
"What I am about to say will remain only between the three of US." Frona had a determined look in her eyes.
"Firstly, I will enter my Natal Tower. The tower will be in her possession." Frona pointed to Lesia.
"Secondly..." She looked at Xristian. "If you sincerely support me, then help her pass through the Xyrisia Gate safely to return to the Haleth Realm."
"Thirdly, it's about Yefrenes and the other Caeloros Gods. They will surely try to seize the Caeloros Supreme's position once I'm gone.
"You are to stay out of their fights and conflicts. Protect the Xyrisia Gate. If the task gets too overwhelming, you may retreat to the Jawdat Region and wait for our news there. "Fourthly, I will take the Caeloros Supreme Scepter with me.
"Even if someone claims to be the new Caeloros Supreme, they won't be able to amend the Haleth Realm's Daoisms. So, you won't have to worry about something like that happening." Xristian's eyes widened. “Caeloros Supreme..."
"You are my supporter. At the same time, you were James' teacher."
Frona continued, "He succeeded in making the Great Historial Land that you left behind for him independent of Zymurgy.
"James also managed to implement his Daoisms and principles there. There's no way you'll stand by and do nothing when he's driven into a corner."
Xristian felt extremely torn as he listened to Frona's words.
"There's not much time left," Frona said in a steely voice. "James is the key to resolving the Leere Tribulation.
"By keeping him alive, we will be able to preserve the Haleth Realm and the Xanadu Realm. The Xanadu Realms presence is crucial in preventing the Five Shadowborns' invasion." Frona looked Xristian in the eye.
"I'm not doing this just to rescue James, instead, I'm doing it to save our Path i think it's totally worthdt to sacrifice my position as the Caelbros Supreme if I can achieve thồ." Tears streamed down Xristian's face.
"Can you really save James by being there physically?"
"We won't know until we try." Frona smiled faintly. "Don't forget about the things I've just told you. I'll see you again soon.
Frona transformed into a mass of black and white gases right away. The mass of gas flowed swiftly into the Natal Tower and disappeared from everyone's sight.
"Caeloros Supreme!" Xristian called out instinctively.
Meanwhile, the glowing tower floated toward Lesia and rested on her palm.
Lesia got to her feet.
Xristian trudged toward Lesia and stopped before her.
"Tell James that our Caeloros Supreme has given up her position to save him."
Lesia bit her lip and bowed deeply. "Thank you, Caeloros God of Reincarnation."
Xristian lifted his hand and conjured two shiny energy balls before Lesia. “You can find items for your sustenance and protection at the Haleth Realm in these energy balls. "Remember. You must pro tect the Caeloros Supreme. She's completely vulnerable in the Haleth Realm."
Lesia nodded and put the energy balls in her storage space.
"Also..." Xristian conjured a glowing talisman this time. "If James tries to harm the Caeloros Supreme, seal him with this immediately."
Lesia paused and looked at Xristian.
"Take it." Xristian's expression hardened. "You need it as a countermeasure."
"I won't need it," Lesia answered firmly. "I trust my master just as much as I trust my main self."
"Even if James won't do that, what about the divine beings around him?" Xristian asked.
After a moment's consideration, Lesia took the talisman.
Then, Xristian took her and shot toward the Xyrisia Gate.
He performed several signature skills and formed a Path Cauldron made up of black and white gases around Lesia.
After that, he cast the cauldron in the Xyrisia Gate's direction.
As he stared at the Xyrisia Gate, Xristian let out a deep sigh.
"James, you are both cursed with
difficult tribulations and blessed with
good luck. You are the first person
ever to make our Caeloros Supreme take such a huge risk for someone else.
"I hope you won't let US down."
Xristian channeled a tremendous amount of black and white gases toward the Xyrisia Gate the next instant.
In a flash, a mysterious space containing trillions of universes filled up the entire Xyrisia Gate. Even Xristian was trapped within the space.
