The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 1019
She couldn’t take the risk.
So, she couldn’t let Lysander come home with her.
“Alright.” Thalassa replied. She stepped forward to support Lysander and followed Richard out of the private room. They went
towards the elevator that led to the upper floors of the hotel.
The elevator stopped on the 28th floor, and Richard helped Joshua out. A bellboy was

already waiting at the elevator doors. “Mr. Richard, here are the key cards for rooms 2806 and 2809.”
“Thanks. You may go now.” Richard took the key cards from the bellboy and handed one to Thalassa, “Please take Lysander to
this room.”
Thalassa took it, glanced at the number, and saw it was for room 2809.
She struggled to help Lysander to the door, fumbling with the key card to open it.
Room 2806 was just across from 2809. Richard unlocked his door and helped Joshua
inside.
Thalassa, supporting Lysander, noticed his drunkenness had intensified. His steps grew more erratic, and his body started to
slump.
She draped his arm over her shoulder, bearing the weight of his body, and staggered into the room. “Easy does it, the bed’s just
ahead,” she said.
As he was dragged inside, his long leg hooked behind him, closing the door-a detail Thalassa missed.
She made it to the bed and was about to gently lower Lysander onto it when the arm around her shoulder suddenly tightened,
pulling her neck with a strong, firm grip.

Thalassa spun around and was flung onto the bed, her back hitting the soft mattress and bouncing slightly. Her heart raced, a cry
of alarm escaping her as she instinctively tried to turn over. But Lysander’s broad chest had pressed down on her before she
could move.
His legs pinned hers, his chest enveloping her, and his hot, powerful breath sprayed across her face. Thalassa’s heart skipped a
beat, and her nerves tingled with tension, “Lysander, you’re drunk. You should get some rest... You’ll feel better after a rest...”
“Really, you think I can’t hold my liquor?” Lysander’s husky voice rumbled above her, like the growl of a wild beast circling her
head.
His breath, warm and heavy, played across her lips. His hot chest pressed down on her, and she could feel the scorching heat
even through the fabric.
It was so intense that Thalassa’s heart pounded like boiling water, unable to calm.

“You’re faking being drunk?” Thalassa’s wide, clear eyes fixated on the handsome face so
ve
close to hers. Those sharp contours bathed in a mix of fiery warmth and icy coolness.
Lysander’s large hand covered her face and enveloped it completely. His rough palm, calloused slightly, caressed her cheek, the
heat from his hand almost scalding.
It sent tingles across Thalassa’s skin, a sensation so intense it was almost electric, making her skin burn.
“There was something in that drink, wasn’t there? You know it better than I do, don’t you?” Lysander’s deep eyes, mysterious
and unfathomable, fixed piercingly on Thalassa’s.
Thalassa’s breath hitched, her heart ceasing to beat for a moment, fear and anxiety laid bare.
Lysander knew there was something in the drink. Why did he still drink it?

“Why would you do this?” His icy, hoarse voice broke the silence when she didn’t respond.
“I...” The repression in Thalassa’s heart was too intense, almost causing her to spill the truth. But as she met Lysander’s eyes –
void of any warmth, cold and detached – her paín choked in her throat, and her hands clutched the blanket beneath her.
“Susan fancies you.” Thalassa managed to say, trying to suppress the turmoil and sorrow within her. Her voice was calm and
composed.
