The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 1031
Tucking the kids into bed, Thalassa said to them, “Snuggle up and wait for Mommy, sweethearts. I’ll just take a quick shower and
then it’s story time.”
“Okay, we’ll wait!” the little cuties nodded obediently, their eyes reflecting trust and anticipation.
Thalassa’s smile lingered as she turned and stepped out of the room. She was thinking of arranging bath and room for Evelyn to
stay over. It was her first time here, and Thalassa wanted everything to be perfect.
Just then, her phone buzzed in her pocket, jolting her nerves. The ringtone felt like a harbinger of stress.
Hesitating for only a second, she pulled out the phone and glanced at the screen. The number was unfamiliar, certainly not
Bruce’s she knew his by heart.
The strange digits weren’t from Lysander either; she realized with a mix of relief and an inexplicable twinge of heartache.
After staring at the flashing numbers for a few seconds, Thalassa slid the answer button with a resigned motion. “Hello?”
Even suspecting a scam, she maintained her polite tone – what if it wasn’t?
“It’s me.” a man’s voice came through, clear and grave.
Thalassa instantly recognized the voice. Startled, her heart rate spiked. “What’s up?”
She quickened her pace toward the bathroom. The house staff was bustling in the hallway, and she couldn’t risk being
overheard. If any of them caught wind of the conversation, Lysander would surely find out.
“There’s something important. Tonight is the best time for you to leave. Just take your kids and do as I tell you,” Callum’s voice
was serious, a stark contrast to his usual easygoing tone.
Thalassa stepped into the bathroom and shut the door, but she still peered through the frosted glass to ensure privacy. “Tonight?
I’m completely unprepared!” she whispered in shock, her mind racing.
Escaping with her children from a man like Lysander required meticulous planning. If they were caught, the consequences would
be dire,

“No need for preparations. Take your children, get out of Royal Estates, and leave the rest to me,” Callum instructed.
“But why is tonight the best opportunity? Lysander could return at any moment.” Thalassa fretted, feeling trapped.
“Remember I mentioned investigating the hotel? Several kidnappings and assaults on women were reported there, and now the
media is all over it. It’s tied to Lysander.”
“Tied to Lysander?” she echoed, her grip on the phone tightening in surprise.
“Yes. The case is solved. Lysander would get the credit. The media would be all over him, and he’d be too busy to come home
tonight,” Callum explained, aiming to ease Thalassa’s fears so she could boldly take her children and flee.
Callum had personally managed the exposure of the hotel scandal, gathered evidence and tipped off the media. Yet, he’d
deliberately leaked Lysander’s involvement to the press, suggesting his raid on the hotel was a heroic act of crime-fighting.
With Lysander’s own allure and notoriety, the media were clamoring for a piece of him.
Now was Thalassa’s chance to disappear into the night.
