The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 1055
She wanted to leave him to live a life of freedom and spontaneity. Was that really so
wrong?
She only teamed up with Susan to drug him because she had her back against the wall.
Susan had blackmailed her with a video of her mother, leaving her with no choice but to
comply.
Her rush to leave the hotel was to seek out Atticus and erase the video from Bruce’s
possession, to remove the leverage Bruce’s family held over her.
Only by erasing the threat could she find true liberation.
Why did it have to be so hard for her, simply wanting a life without constraints? It was as if she had triggered his wrath, and he
had gone mad with tormenting her.
Thalassa’s eyes brimmed with tears, her jaw clenched in an effort to suppress the despair and pain welling up inside her.
At her most distressed, she could no longer bear it and whispered, “Lysander, my stomach... it hurts so badly...”
Her words were strained, voicing the physical agony she felt.
Lysander, with his face flushed from his heated anger, had a voice as hoarse as gravel and eyes as unforgiving as ice. Upon
hearing her, he spat out, “You’re lying to me again!”
Last time at the Crest Summit hotel, when Lysander wanted to take her to the security
claimed a stomach-ache to avoid it, which was a ploy
room to check the survellianico
to cover for the people who had kidnapped her!
And now, she was trying the same trick.

Thalassa’s body convulsed in pain. Sweat beaded on her forehead and dripped onto the bed, seeping into the pure cotton
sheets.
“I... I’m really having a stomach-ache...” she insisted through clenched teeth, gripping the bed sheet tightly.
Lysander didn’t believe her; he was convinced she was playing games, and he showed no
mercy.
Suddenly, he caught the metallic scent of blood.
His eyes found a streak of crimson.
His expression darkened.
She wasn’t lying this time.
Chapter 1055
Lysander hurriedly picked up the clothes from the floor and dressed swiftly, buttoning up with rapid precision.
He found Thalassa’s clothes in the dresser and dressed her quickly. Then, he scooped her up in his arms and strode toward the
exit with urgency.
Thalassa clung to his shoulder, breathing heavily, enduring the sharp pain in her abdomen. Through her blurred vision, she saw
beads of sweat forming on Lysander’s handsome, tense face.
For a moment, her vision wavered, and she fancied that his strained, sweat-drenched
appearance was due to nervousness...
Was he nervous about her?
No, that couldn’t be.
She was less than dirt in his eyes; how could he possibly be nervous about her?
The sweat on his face was probably just due to exhaustion.

Lysander rushed to the car. He placed Thalassa inside and buckled her seat belt.
He jumped into the driver’s seat and sped off.
They arrived at the hospital quickly.
Lysander, carrying Thalassa, strode into the emergency access and shouted, “Doctor! We need a doctor here, now!”
His voice was tight with urgency.
Doctors and nurses hurried over, instructing Lysander to bring Thalassa into the
emergency room.
She was placed on the operating table, and Lysander was asked to wait outside.
Lysander’s eyes flickered with emotion as the doors to the operating room closed and the “In Surgery” light illuminated. Sweat
layered his forehead and dripped down his chiseled face.
He paced, breathing raggedly, waiting outside the operating room.
