The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 1076
Lost in a sea of conflicting thoughts, Thalassa was brought back to reality by the sound of the hospital room door opening.
Someone had come in.
With her keen senses, Thalassa glanced toward the door and saw Evelyn and Hertha stride in, their faces etched with urgent
concern.
Evelyn rushed to Thalassa’s bedside with an anxious expression, tenderly taking her hand. “Thalassa, I was beside myself when
I heard you were hospitalized. You were fine at lunch, what on earth happened that you ended up here?”
She held Thalassa’s hand, squeezing it gently as if trying to transfer some of her own warmth to Thalassa’s chilly fingers.
I’m okay, Mom. How did you find out I was in the hospital? Who told you?” Thalassa was curious. She hadn’t been at the hospital
long and had come straight from the Royal Estates. If Lysander hadn’t said anything, how could Evelyn have known?
“Remember I saved Fitch’s number? I called him to check on you and the kids, and he told me you were admitted,” Evelyn
explained, her gaze full of sorrow as she examined Thalassa’s bruised chin. “Your chin is all purple. Did Lysander hit you?”
“What? Lysander hit you? That scoundrel!” Hertha flared up upon hearing Evelyn’s words, rolling up her sleeves in a huff. “I
swear, if I see Lysander, I’m gonna give him a piece of my mind!”
Thalassa appreciated Hertha’s protective rage, knowing she truly cared and wanted to defend her, but the thought of anyone
standing up to Lysander seemed outlandish. She hurried to reassure Evelyn and Hertha, “It’s not what you think. Lysander didn’t
hit me.”

“Then what’s with your chin? And why were you suddenly hospitalized?” Hertha pressed, eager for answers.
Thalassa looked at Evelyn, who was seated beside her bed holding her hand, then turned her gaze to Hertha standing nearby,
her face filled with worry.
The profound and genuine concern in their eyes overwhelmed her.
In their compassionate gaze, Thalassa’s battered heart felt instantly mended.
She was loved and worried about by her family: she was fortunate.
“Lysander was questioning why I ran away. He grabbed my chin a bit too hard, and I bruise easily. I’m in the hospital for a
precautionary measure to safeguard the pregnancy,” Thalassa explained calmly, her tone more comforting than alarmed.
“What, you’re pregnant again?”
“What, you’re pregnant again?”

Chapter 1076
Hertha and Evelyn exclaimed in unison, both staring at Thalassa with a mixture of astonishment and shock.
Once the surprise settled, Hertha eagerly reached out to touch Thalassa’s belly, her palm resting on the soft curve. “You mean to
say there’s a new life-or rather, lives-growing in there?”

Evelyn’s face went pale with worry, “You’re pregnant again?”
Thalassa’s first pregnancy had been a harrowing experience, delivering quadruplets and barely making it through alive. The
thought of her going through that ordeal again was terrifying.
Instead of feeling joy at the news of the pregnancy, Evelyn’s first reaction was concern for Thalassa’s well-being and whether
she could survive another trip through the gauntlet.
Smiling, Thalassa nodded at Hertha, who bent over to feel her stomach, and then at Evelyn, who had stepped back to give
Hertha space. “Yes, Mom. The kids are going to have little brothers or sisters. You’re going to be a grandmother to a few more
kids.”
