The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 1113
Thalassa stood silently behind Ethan, her gaze fixed on his hands.
“Ah, Mr. Ethan, I’ve heard so much about you! What a pleasure to finally meet,” Lucy said, bustling over to stand beside Bruce,
her greeting to Ethan rushed but warm.
Ethan looked up at her with a polite, businesslike smile. “Hello.”
“Hello, hello! I’m Lucy, Bruce’s wife,” she said, nodding vigorously as if to emphasize her identity, fearing someone might not
make the connection.
“Please, have a seat,” Ethan offered.
Bruce tugged at her sleeve, barely concealing his disdain, and muttered, “Sit down, will you?”
If it weren’t for Lucy’s uncanny insights into the stock market, Bruce wouldn’t dream of bringing her along to potentially
embarrass themselves.
With a hurried smile, Lucy took her seat.
“Here’s the portfolio of all the products from the Crawley Group. Take a look and see how stable it seems,” Bruce said, sliding a
stack of documents across the table to her.
Lucy flipped through the pages, examining the data carefully, then confidently declared, “Alright, we’re buying into the Crawley
Group stocks!”

Bruce nudged her arm as a reminder to slow down.
Did she think this was a fire sale at the supermarket?
“Maybe we should look a bit closer?”
Lucy pointed to a section of the dossier featuring the Crawley Group’s latest smartphone, the Lipo, yet to hit the market. “Take a
look at this – their latest phone in development. Although it’s not released yet, I’m confident it’ll be bound to top the electronics
charts once it hits the shelves.”
“How can you be so sure?” Bruce asked.
“Just look at the phone’s camera feature-high resolution, fantastic clarity. And the tagline, ‘Unseen is unsaid; Lipo lets you see it
all in a flash!’ Plus, this ad campaign is just brilliant. While many phones flood the market with various features, Lipo stands out
with its pioneering camera focus. Once it launches, it’ll fly off the shelves, and Crawley’s stock
will soar.”
As she spoke, Lucy gestured to the print ad in the materials-a before-and-after portrayal. The top half showed a woman with
heavy, clown-like makeup, while the bottom half revealed her without the disguise, holding the phone, looking effortlessly
stunning.

Bruce followed her finger to the ad, recognizing the model with a start-it was Susan!

So, Lucy had seen Susan modeling for the Lipo phone! No wonder she was buzzing with excitement.
Ethan, maintaining his amiable expression, added meaningfully, “Lucy’s right. We’re focusing on marketing this phone, and the
ads are ready to launch. If the phone sells well, the model in the ads is bound to shoot to fame too.”
At the prospect of Susan becoming a star, Lucy’s excitement grew. “Yes, we’ll buy into the Crawley Group stocks right now.”
Despite past tensions with Susan, Lucy couldn’t help but feel pride and joy for her daughter’s potential rise to fame.
Caught up in the moment, Lucy whipped out her phone and quickly invested the two hundred thousand Bruce had entrusted to
her into the Crawley Group.
Bruce watched nervously from the sidelines, unsure of what to say.
After sealing the deal, Lucy’s attention turned sharply to Thalassa, her earlier fluster replaced by a biting sarcasm.
“It just occurred to me, Ms. Everhart, you’re Mr. Ethan’s secretary, right? Didn’t you have four kids with Mr. Sinclair? Instead of
being by his side, you’re here with Mr. Ethan. What’s the matter, hoping to add branches to another man’s family tree with your
‘fertile’ belly?”
Lucy’s hostility towards Thalassa was palpable, and she didn’t hold back her spiteful words, even in Ethan’s presence.
Thalassa’s expression hardened. “There’s a remarkable skill some folks possess,” she retorted icily, “a knack for never speaking
a kind thought!”
