The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 1180
Those gazes were too deep, catching Thalassa off guard and making her heart skip a beat. She averted her gaze instinctively.
She couldn’t fathom why Lysander was looking at her like that.
Had she said something wrong, or was there a problem with what Dorian had mentioned
earlier?
“Mommy, when can the little one comes out and play with us?” Elowen’s voice was sweet and melodic, her question innocent.
The sudden intervention of the adorable tot provided Thalassa with a graceful exit from
an awkward situation.
“They won’t be ready to play for another eight or nine months,” she said, looking at
Elowen.
“Is that a long time?” Elowen, confused about the concept of time, tilted her head and
asked.
“Yes, darling, it’s quite a long time,” Thalassa replied gently, stroking Elowen’s little head.
“Mommy, can you play with us now? Like, play plane?” Elowen tugged at Thalassa’s sleeve, her eyes full’ of hope.

“Plane games?” Thalassa was puzzled.
Elowen’s bright eyes turned to Lysander, and she toddled over to him, tugging at his sleeve with a cooing voice, “Daddy, you be
the pilot, mommy be the flight attendant, and we can be the passengers. Let’s play takeoff, please.”
Thalassa finally understood. Elowen was suggesting they play ‘house’ – the game most beloved by children.
And she wanted Lysander, the stern and aloof CEO, to join in a child’s game of make-believe.
Wasn’t that just asking for trouble?
How could Lysander possibly want to engage in such childish play?
Thalassa forced a smile, trying to smooth things over for Elowen, “It’s okay, if you’re busy, we could ask Fitch to join.”
Before she could finish, Lysander glanced at her, bent down to scoop up Elowen, and pulled out his phone from his pocket. With
a few taps, the airplane door swung open.
Thalassa was speechless.

She was so short-sighted that it was the first time she’d seen a plane that could be operated by a cell phone.
She had thought Lysander’s silence was an agreement to her earlier suggestion.
But in the next moment, she saw Lysander striding towards the plane, Elowen in his arms.

As he stepped onto the plane, he glanced over his shoulder and said in a deep voice, “Aren’t you coming?”
Thalassa stood frozen in place, bewildered.
Was the CEO really about to engage in a game of airplanes with the kids?
Thalassa couldn’t believe it, yet the scene before her was indisputably real.
It seemed that even a man as serious and cold as Lysander could be softened by the innocence of children.
Especially these endearing little ones, who were his own flesh and blood.
Indeed, the power of a father’s love could conquer all.
She had once thought Lysander didn’t like children, but after spending time with them, she realized he was quite fond of them,
especially Elowen.
In front of Elowen, the formidable CEO, the man known for his icy demeanor, was transforming into a doting dad.
Not just Thalassa was stunned; even Fitch was taken aback by Lysander’s behavior.
After his initial surprise, Fitch watched Thalassa usher the other three children onto the plane and help Lysander settle them into
their seats.
Dorian piped up, “Captain Daddy, it’s time to fly the plane. Mommy needs to push the food cart and serve us plane meals.”
“Yeah, and I want spaghetti.” Elowen said with excitement.
“I’ll have the rice.” chimed in Atticus, his face adorable as ever.
