The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet by Thalassa Chapter 1199
Chapter 1199
Thalassa’s heart skipped a beat, thrown off rhythm by the memory of his response to her question that day. Her pulse raced
erratically, seeking escape from the turmoil within.
She quickly averted her gaze, refusing to look at his profile any longer, focusing straight ahead, and fell silent.
Lysander, the kind of man whose emotions were as intense as his possessiveness, was suffocating and painful.
She was just an ordinary woman, unable to bear the weight of his oppressive affection.
Nor could she imagine a life indefinitely by his side without any formal acknowledgment. All she yearned for was a simple,
tranquil existence.
The car pulled to a stop in the driveway of the Royal Estates.
Experience had taught her if she didn’t hurry out, Lysander would come and scoop her up in a princess carry that was as
embarrassingly intimate as it was heart-fluttering, making her feel utterly uncomfortable. Especially with so many servants
around, their eyes inevitably catching the scene, leaving her blushing and shy.
So the moment the car came to a halt, she hastily pushed the door open and stepped out
onto the solid ground, heading towards the house.

Behind her, the sound of the car door closing signaled Lysander’s exit. She quickened her pace, nearly running into the living
room.
Fitch, the head butler, was directing the staff in their cleaning when he saw her. He greeted her with respectful politeness, “Ms.
Everhart, welcome back.”
“Yes, thank you. Carry on,” Thalassa replied cordially.
No sooner had she spoken than she felt an imposing presence behind her. A looming shadow enveloped her before she could
react, her feet lifted from the ground, and her body was suspended in air.
Thalassa gasped in surprise, her hands instinctively reaching for something stable to prevent a fall.
As always, she found Lysander’s neck, her body steadied, her panicked heart found its pace, and her anxious eyes met the
handsome face inches from hers.
His solid chest pressed against her, radiating an unshakeable strength and a potent
masculine scent that teased her cheeks.
Her heart, yet to settle, began to race once more.
Her heartbeat, right against the spot where Lysander’s chest met her left breast, was for him.

His deep eyes flickered, his gaze intense as he saw her startled look. His throat tightened, and he carried her swiftly upstairs.
The staff, led by Fitch, caught off guard by Lysander carrying Thalassa, quickly lowered their heads, pretending to see nothing,
busying themselves with their tasks, lest they draw Lysander’s ire.
Thalassa, her arm hooked around Lysander’s neck, felt his determined steps on the staircase, his urgency veiled in a steady
stride. She blushed from head to toe.
It was vexing. She’d tried all day to avoid this very situation, only to find herself still in his
arms.
Lysander pushed open the door to the master bedroom, striding in with her and gently laying her on the bed. His chest hovered
over her, and his lips found hers in an insistent
kiss.
“Mmm.” Thalassa was caught off guard, her lips sealed.
Lysander’s breath was hot and heavy, his passion enveloping her senses.
Her lips tingled under his, her mind spinning rapidly into dizziness, her body going limp. Her eyelashes fluttered, pooling with
unshed tears, surrendering to his will.
The kiss deepened, heating with every second. His strong hand gripped her slender waist, pulling her close to him.
Thalassa, feeling the change in his body, widened her eyes in alarm.
