The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 1234
Alaric was a dead weight, and Georgia, thin as a rail, could barely budge him.
When she finally heaved him up, creating some space from Hertha, Georgia’s strength gave out. Her grip slipped, and Alaric
crashed down on top of Hertha.
Hertha groaned in pain, frowning in discomfort.
Alaric stirred slightly, then rolled off and sprawled onto the bed, regaining a bit of consciousness.
Georgia’s heart raced, her hand clapped over her mouth, terrified that Alaric or Hertha would wake up.
After a few tense seconds, Hertha lay still as a statue, showing no signs of waking.
Alaric, on the other hand, took deep breaths with his eyes shut tight in discomfort, his brow furrowed. He pressed a hand to his
forehead, seemingly shielding his eyes from the piercing light of the room.
Seeing that both were still out cold, Georgia’s anxiety settled.
She approached Alaric again. Summoning all her strength, she managed to maneuver him onto the other bed.
Georgia had assumed Alaric wanted to bring Hertha here for a nightcap, but she didn’t expect him to be so plastered that he’d
booked a double room.
Two beds in the room meant Alaric hadn’t had any untoward intentions toward Hertha.
But this setup worked to Georgia’s advantage.

After getting Alaric onto the other bed, she was panting from exertion, looking down at the unconscious man before her.
Georgia’s expression tensed as she steeled her resolve. Tonight, she would have Alaric. It was the perfect opportunity.
If she succeeded, and considering the mutual interest in a union between their families,
she could secure her marriage to him.
That was why she had followed him here, why she had helped him into the room.
Her mother was right. To capture Alaric, she couldn’t be the prim and proper lady. She couldn’t be willful and petulant. Nobody
here would tolerate or indulge her high-maintenance tempers. She had to be cunning to get what she wanted.
And tonight, fate was on her side, presenting her with a drunken Alaric.
Georgia looked at Alaric’s handsome face and thought of her plan.

Chapter 1234
With determination, she strode forward, closed the door, and ignored Hertha, who was out like a light on the other bed.
Whatever Georgia was about to do with Alaric on the other bed wouldn’t be Hertha’s
concern.

Georgia returned to Alaric’s side and, without hesitation, knelt on the bed and began unbuttoning his shirt.
Just as she reached the last button, Alaric suddenly lifted his hand and grasped Ge wrist.
His palm was feverish, the heat sending a shiver through Georgia’s heart, her pulse ra Breathless, she glanced at Alaric
nervously.
The room was dim, she couldn’t tell if he was truly awake.
Frozen, with her hand in his grip, Georgia didn’t dare move, fearing Alaric would wake and tell her to get out.
“Hertha, stop it,” Alaric murmured, his voice thick with inebriation. He let go of her hand, turned over, and continued to sleep.
