Chapter 563
Following the map’s directions, Lysander and his team tracked down the culprit to the Starhaven International Kindergarten.
Their sleek black Rolls-Royce parked at the entrance, the manager nervously held his iPad, eyes darting to the blinking locator
app. “Mr. Sinclair,” he stammered, “The crime was committed within the kindergarten.”
“How accurate can we get? Lysander commanded, his icy demeanor keeping everyone at bay.
The manager replied, “We can pinpoint the exact device used for the crime.” -The device that was used to hack into the Sinclair
Group’s financial department.
If they found the device, they could have found the person who used it.
Lysander’s gaze pierced through the school’s facade.
The school’s principal hurriedly arrived with a forced smile on his face. He nervously approached Lysander and stuttered, “Mr.
Sinclair, welcome,” his voice shaking from the icy aura emanating from Lysander.
His nervousness was palpable.
“Do you find it hard to earn $2 billion, or does the kindergarten want to close down? Do you dare to target the Sinclair Group? Do
you have a death wish?” Lysander’s frosty gaze swept over the principal, his chilling words hanging in the air.
The principal fell to his knees, “Mr. Sinclair, if we’ve done anything wrong, please tell us. We’ll make amends...”
But he had no idea what they had done wrong.
“It’s no longer your kindergarten!” Lysander coldly glanced at him before striding into the school.
The principal was left aghast and helpless.
His mind raced. How was he going to explain that to the shareholders?
Who had provoked Lysander to such an extent?
In the school’s tech class, ten children held tablets, the teacher lectured from the front, and the students followed along.
All except one.
Atticus’ screen was filled with lines of code, his tiny fingers flew across the screen. His young brow furrowed in concentration.
He had just transferred $10 million to his mother’s account but, in his haste, had left a loophole that could have potentially
exposed his IP address. He was then desperately trying to cover
his tracks.
In the midst of his focus, three men walked into the classroom.
The man leading them had a powerful aura, and the air seemed to ripple around him. There was a palpable sense of intrusion.
The teacher froze, abruptly ending the lesson and nervously approaching the intruders.
But Lysander didn’t even spare the teacher a glance. He walked straight towards Atticus!
Feeling the change in the atmosphere, Atticus looked up and saw Lysander approaching. His small hand shook, and he quickly
tried to switch screens.
Lysander’s hand shot out, grabbing the tablet from him.
