The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 689
After a thorough examination, Dr. Everest reported back to Lysander, “She’s sprained her ligament and there’s internal bleeding.
We need to use a combination of kneading to reduce swelling and oral medication for bruises and sprains.”
Lysander simply nodded his consent.
With Lysander’s permission, Dr. Everest retrieved medication from his medical kit to treat Thalassa.
Thalassa, in her slumber, felt the pain and instinctively tried to retract her foot.
Lysander promptly reached out his large hand to hold her leg steady.
Thalassa stirred slightly in her sleep but didn’t wake. Again, she sank back into deep slumber.
“Be gentle.” Lysander’s gaze shifted from Thalassa’s face to Dr. Everest, his voice stern.
Dr. Everest quickly nodded, “Of course.”
Sweat broke out on his forehead from the tension. Lysander’s command made him so. The intense pressure left him on edge.
Dr. Everest then lightened his movements and slowly kneaded Thalassa’s foot.
With Lysander holding her leg, she was unable to move. Soon, the kneading was done.
Dr. Everest then wrapped Thalassa’s foot with gauze smeared with a medicated salve for sprains and bruises, and prescribed
some oral medication.
He instructed Lysander, “Avoid her from any pungent foods and excessive physical activity. And ensure that she’ll get plenty of
rest for at least a month.”
With Lysander’s acknowledgment, Dr. Everest left with his medical kit.
Lysander was standing by the bed and staring at the sleeping Thalassa.
“Don’t squish me.”
“Ouch, you’re squishing my hand.”

Whispers echoed from the doorway.
Lysander glanced back. He saw nothing at first until he lowered his gaze to see four little heads peeping in from the doorway.
Four pairs of curious eyes, brimming with innocent wonder, were attempting to sneak a peek inside.
They wanted to come in but were afraid of disturbing the people in the room, so they positioned themselves at the door and
craned their necks to see inside. Their heights were almost the same, and the limited space caused a small commotion among
the four as they jostled for a better view. Dorian, unable to see, even pressed down on Elowen’s head.
They reminded him of four curious bear cubs; their cuteness and innocence were overpowering.
Upon catching Lysander’s gaze, Elowen gave him a goofy grin. She scratched her head sheepishly, “Hehe...”
Dorian, too, stopped pressing Elowen’s head. He was blinking his young, innocent eyes endearingly.
Sophia, who had been in the front, quickly scurried behind her siblings when she noticed Lysander’s attention. She clutched at
Atticus’ clothes in fear of their father’s anger.
Atticus, who had been at the back, was now second in line. He raised his cute face, meeting Lysander’s gaze without a hint of
fear.
Ever since he had aided his father in hacking into the housing authority’s network and subsequently gained his approval, his
confidence had skyrocketed. Lysander’s stern gaze softened as he saw each kid’s cuteness. He walked over, took Elowen’s
hand, and said in a low voice, “Let’s go get ready for bed.”
Leading Elowen away, the other three took one last peek inside the room before following them downstairs.
After their baths, Elowen wrapped her arms around Lysander, “Daddy, I want a hug, too. Tuck me in just like mommy.”
