The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 785
Lysander stood facing the accident scene, with the children tucked against his chest, their backs to the chaos. His hands firmly
pressed down on their little bodies, shielding them from the horrific sight.
His eyes met with Leopold’s and saw his eyes were bloodshot, holding back some emotion. Furrowing his brows, Lysander
turned and walked away.
He quickly caught up with Thalassa, glancing at her.
Her face was ashen, lips trembling uncontrollably, not just from fear, but more so from worry.
Who was she worried about? Leopold’s injuries, or the fright the kids might’ve experienced?
Lysander matched his strides with Thalassa’s, walking beside her.
As Thalassa hastened to leave with the children, a shadow loomed at her side. An icy aura enveloped her, impossible to ignore.
She turned to see Lysander and the children who were nestled against him. They were so still, clearly terrified out of their wits.
Lysander’s handsome face was tense, and his eyes were fixed on her.
Thalassa met his gaze, her heart sinking.
Without stopping, they continued their quick exit. The security guards were drawing caution tape to prevent anyone from entering
the mall. The people outside were oblivious to what had happened, naturally curious as to why they were being barred from
entry.
The guards simply mentioned an emergency and turned away all those attempting to enter.
The mall was now exit-only.
Thalassa, holding Dorian and Atticus’ hands, sat down by a flower bed outside the mall. Finally, she had a moment to check on
the children for any injuries.
“How are you, Dorian, Atticus? Are you hurt?” Thalassa asked, her eyes filled with concern.
Dorian shook his head. “I’m okay, Mom.”

“I’m okay too.” Atticus was quick to reassure her; he didn’t want Thalassa to worry.
Lysander, too, let Elowen and Sophia down. The frightened little ones hurried into Thalassa’s arms, their voices soft and pitiful.
“Mommy, what exploded? I was so scared,” Elowen whimpered, her grip on Thalassa’s dress trembling.
Sophia, who had held her tears all the while, finally let them flow as she buried her face in Thalassa’s chest.
Hearing the children’s soft, scared voices, Thalassa felt her heart shatter. She hugged all four children tightly, kissing their
foreheads and soothing them gently, “Don’t be scared; it’s over. Mommy and Daddy are right here. It was just a movie shoot; it’s
not real, Don’t be scared.”
As she comforted the children, Thalassa couldn’t help but think of the sight she’d just witnessed the blood-stained floor,
Leopold’s body pierced with shards of glass...
Her heart clenched painfully.
She wondered how Leopold was doing now.
Her gaze shifted to meet Lysander’s deep eyes, her heart skipping a beat as she desperately tried to hide her worry.
Everything would be alright.
There were plenty of staff in the mall, and they would’ve called for help.
As long as Leopold’s vitals were unharmed, he would be okay.
