The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 872
Thalassa hadn’t seen her children in days. Their adorable, cuddly faces were all she could think of.
Now, they were here, their babyish voices calling out to her.
Thalassa hurriedly walked towards them, squatting down and opening her arms to welcome the four little ones sprinting towards
her.
They ran fast, all four of them crashing into her arms. The immense impact sent Thalassa stumbling backward, almost falling. A
strong, muscular arm reached out, steadying her from behind.
The force of his grip sent a jolt through Thalassa’s heart, but she quickly composed herself, greedily hugging her four adorable
children, nuzzling their soft, innocent faces and kissing their rosy cheeks.
Their soft, milky–scented faces were healing Thalassa’s wounded heart.
Hugging her children felt like holding the whole world in her arms.
“Sweethearts, how did you get here? Mommy missed you so much,” Thalassa’s voice was full of emotion.
“Mommy, we missed you too. Why didn’t you come to Royal Estates to see us?” Elowen snuggled into Thalassa’s arms, on the
verge of tears.
She missed her mother so much.
“Mommy, we wanted Daddy to take us to see you, but Daddy is always so–busy,” Dorian complained.
“Mommy, next time I’ll just hack into the Royal Estates‘ system and cut the power so we don’t have to stay there,” Atticus, usually
so sensible, was now talking big, his youthful voice tugging at Thalassa’s heartstrings.
“Mommy, I miss you so much that I can’t sleep. I’ve been fixing these pendants for you. I’ve fixed so many, and they’re all for
you,” Sophia’s eyes welled up with tears.
It had been days since they’d seen their mother, and their little hearts were filled with thoughts of her.
All they could think of was how to see their mother again.

Thalassa, hearing their soft, babyish voices, felt a pang in her heart. She hugged them tighter. “I’m sorry, I should’ve come to see
you sooner. From now on, I will be with you every day. Is that okay?”
“Uh–huh, okay,” Elowen nodded enthusiastically.
They were easy to appease. Just the promise of their mother’s daily company was enough to cheer them up.
“Hello, officer. We have a thief here...” Amelia was on the phone when someone snatched it from her.
Startled, she was about to grab it back when she saw Lysander’s icy, stern face. She quickly plastered a smile on her face and
said, “Lysander, Thalassa’s been stealing. I was just calling the police.”
Lysander glanced at her dismissively, hung up the phone, and tossed it back to her, which Amelia caught in a hurry.
“Lysander, you’re here, great! Thalassa’s really been a surprise. She’s been eyeing the bracelet Amelia gave me this morning.
It’s not just a bracelet she wants to steal, it’s the status that comes with it. She really doesn’t know her place.”
Charlotte walked over to Lysander, her previously arrogant face now replaced with a sweet smile. She was about to cozy up to
him when Lysander’s icy gaze stopped her in her tracks.
She dropped her hand, embarrassed, and forced a smile.
