The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 884
Thalassa was on edge while she was listening to Callum whispering in her ear.
“Wednesday night, eight o’clock, at the Fortune Diner. It’s about Leopold so you have to come.”
Callum stepped back after whispering to create a distance between them.
His secret message was delivered before she could even prepare herself. Surprised, she turned to look at him.
Before she could ask anything further, she felt a change in the atmosphere. A dangerous, icy chill crept in, thickening the air
around her and making it harder to breathe.
Turning around, she saw Lysander striding towards them. His aura was ice-cold, his handsome face stern, his deep eyes filled
with cold hostility.
With his approach, Thalassa’s heart tightened; she instinctively recoiled.
The next moment, her wrist was caught in his iron grip and she was yanked up from her chair.
Lysander cast a frosty glance at Callum, “Mr. Gordon, is there something you can’t say out in the open?”
Callum had a dread feeling about the sharpness of Lysander’s gaze but managed to maintain his calm demeanor. His lips curved
into a gentle smile as he said, “Just playing a game with the kids, it’s called ‘Guess What I Said! Whoever guesses right wins.
Isn’t that right, kiddos?”
Callum always knew how to get the kids excited.
“Yeah, yeah, that’s right.” Elowen nodded eagerly, her chubby cheeks bouncing. “Dad, we haven’t even started guessing yet.”
“I bet he was talking about how tasty today’s dessert is!” Dorian raised his hand, eager to answer.
“I bet he said my mom is pretty!” Elowen shot back, not to be outdone.
Hearing Elowen’s words, Lysander’s handsome face darkened and his eyes filled with an icy rage.
Any man could understand the intentions behind another man complimenting a woman.

“The party is over. We’re going home.” Lysander’s icy, suppressing gaze swept over the children.
The kids, who were initially excited about the game, were stunned into silence by their father’s serious expression.
Thalassa also felt Lysander’s icy hostility. His grip on her wrist was so painful that she couldn’t help but wince, “Lysander, let go
of me first.”
She swiveled her wrist and tried to pull her hand free. But she failed.
His grip tightened as his cold eyes locked on her, “Try moving again.”
He then turned to the bodyguard, “Take the kids.”
With that, he led Thalassa away from the party.
Thalassa could sense the anger radiating off Lysander. The freezing hostility was attacking every inch of her and giving her
goosebumps.
She knew better than to provoke him more when he was already fuming.
Thalassa didn’t struggle anymore; she followed him quickly. The bodyguard picked up the kids and followed them.
Outside the winery on the hilltop, a number of luxury cars were parked.
Lysander opened the door of a black Rolls Royce and ushered Thalassa in, then turned to the bodyguard, “You take the kids in
the
other car.”
The bodyguard led the children to a miniyan.
“I don’t want to sit in this car. I want to sit with Mom.” Elowen pouted.
“Me too,” Sophia chimed in weakly.
The bodyguard looked helplessly at Lysander.

“Behave and sit down. When we get back to Royal Estates, you can play with Mom. Otherwise, I’ll have to send your mom back
to Vibrant Oasis Residences.” Lysander’s seemingly calm remark was fraught with authority.
Upon hearing this, the children immediately quieted down. They obediently sat in the van, waiting for it to start.
