The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 902
In the Vibrant Oasis Residences, Evelyn prepared and had dinner on her own. After a brief rest on the sofa, she headed to the
bathroom for a shower, preparing for an early night’s rest.
While in the shower, a faint sound of the front door creaking open echoed through the apartment. Assuming it was Thalassa
returning, Evelyn didn’t think much of it.
Upon finishing her shower, Evelyn entered the living room dressed in pajamas, only to freeze in shock. There, on her couch, sat
a man-an unwelcome presence that made her heart skip a beat.
It was Bruce.
Evelyn recoiled, anger flaring in her eyes as she confronted him, “Bruce, how in the world did you get a key to my place? What
are you doing here? Get out. Now!”
Her finger pointed vehemently towards the door, her chest heaving with every furious breath.
Bruce looked up, his eyes, once scholarly and gentle, twinkled with mischief. “I had a locksmith make me a copy. Your home is
my home, Evelyn. Why shouldn’t I be able to come in?”
The sight of Evelyn, fresh from the shower with droplets of water glistening on her skin, stirred something within Bruce. Though
years had etched their stories upon her face, her figure remained as slender and enticing as he remembered. The memories of
their past intimacy came flooding back, with her alluring essence now reignited before him.
“Your home is not my home, you shameless jerk! There’s nothing between us anymore!” Evelyn’s voice was sharp with
indignation, trying to veil the creeping fear as she noticed the lascivious glint in Bruce’s gaze.
“Get out this instant!” she commanded, her voice trembling as much as her resolve, not daring to approach him but hoping her
tone would scare him off.
Bruce stood up, advancing towards her with a predatory glint in his eyes. “Evelyn, I’ve been thinking about what you said that
you’ve been with other men. I doubt that’s true. You’re just trying to push my buttons.”
Backpedaling, Evelyn bumped into the dining table, her anger mixed with panic. “Bruce, Thalassa is your daughter! What more
do you want?”

She remembered Thalassa’s advice not to provoke Bruce, who had grown increasingly erratic and dangerous. Without
confirming or denying his suspicions, she hoped the mention of their daughter would quell his doubts.
But his laugh was chilling and triumphant. “It’s been years since I’ve tasted you, Evelyn. Since you claim there’s been no one
else, let’s see if that’s true, shall we?”
Evelyn’s fear turned to horror. “What are you trying to do?” she cried out, fumbling for the chair to defend herself.
Before she could wield it, Bruce grabbed her wrist, twisting it behind her back and shoving her onto the couch.
“Ah!” Evelyn’s cry filled the room as she landed hard on the cushions.
“Evelyn, you hit me once, thought you’d try it again? Don’t push your luck. Tonight, let’s settle both new and old scores,” Bruce
snarled, pinning her down.
“Let me go, help! Mmph...” Evelyn’s cries for help were muffled as Bruce clamped a hand over her mouth, his eyes flashing a
deadly warning.
She kicked out, but Bruce deftly avoided her, pinning her legs with his knee and her wrists with his other hand, his body bearing
down on her.
Trapped, Evelyn writhed in desperation, her struggle causing the buttons on her pajama top to pop open, revealing more than
she intended.
