The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 937
Susan’s face twisted with fury and envy, but when Callum glanced over, she switched to a smile in an instant.
In the few seconds Callum had to observe, he caught a glimpse of Susan’s two-faced charade. With a sardonic chuckle to
himself but a practiced grin on his face, he said, “Susan, what happened? Couldn’t charm Mr. Sinclair into giving you a ride
home?”
He hadn’t seen what went down in the VIP lounge, but he had a pretty good hunch about Susan’s intentions-she must have
pulled out all the stops trying to seduce Lysander, and failed!
Susan’s forced smile stiffened for a moment, but she quickly reverted to a coquettish one. “Oh, Mr. Gordon, you jest. Mr. Sinclair
and I have only met a few times. Why would he take me home? We’re hardly old friends.” Despite not outright denying her desire
to go home with Lysander, her words remained playful.
Callum had to give her credit for being so brazen about her ambitions.
“If you’re looking for assistance, maybe I can be of service.” With that, Callum sidestepped her and walked away.
Susan’s pulse quickened as she spun around to face his retreating back. “Mr. Gordon, are you saying you can help me win over
Lysander?”
Callum paused momentarily, then proceeded without looking back.
Frowning, Susan thought how odd Callum was-offering help then brushing her off.
At the Royal Estates.
As soon as the car halted, Thalassa flung open the door and marched towards the house, not daring to glance back.
“Kids, once you’ve finished bathing, I’ll take you to meet your father. He can then take you to find your mother, alright?”
In the living room, Fitch was trying to soothe the four little tykes.
Dorian, arms crossed, pouted, “Hmph, I don’t wanna bathe until Daddy’s back.”
“I want Mommy to wash me,” Elowen said, eyes brimming with tears.

“I want Mommy, and Grandma,” Sophia murmured, tears circling her eyes.
“Is Daddy with Mommy?” Atticus inquired.
Thalassa walked in to find the four kids standing their ground against Fitch, adorably fierce.
Their chatter was all about wanting Mommy and Grandma.
Thalassa’s heart, panicked and icy moments before, melted at the sight, and a smile spread across her face. “Why aren’t you
bathing? Mommy’s here.”
At her voice, four little heads whipped around, and seeing her, their eyes lit up like stars in the night sky.
“Mommy!” they chorused, scurrying towards Thalassa on stubby legs.
Thalassa crouched down, arms wide open to embrace her darlings.
“Mommy, why’d you take so long?”
The little ones piled into her arms, with Elowen clutching at Thalassa’s shirt, nuzzling into her embrace.
The momentum nearly sent Thalassa tumbling backward, but a large hand steadied her, securing her from behind.
The hand’s warmth was dry and intense, a comforting anchor amid the chaos.
