The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike

Chapter 1103
Jennifer blurted everything out, expressing the apologies and sorrow that had been pent up inside her for days.
She told him how she missed him during meals and when she was in deep slumber. Even the chocolate, which she enjoyed
eating the most, tasted bland in his absence.
Despite her childlike chatter, she was able to string those phrases together like a chatterbox. The onlooking housekeepers could
only listen and sigh helplessly, trying to make sense of her words.
“Guille, Daddy, Mommy, and I came to see you, but why didn’t you show up? I was so disappointed that I almost cried when I
didn’t see you at noon today,” Jennifer pouted.
Felix pressed his lips tightly. His father did tell him that they would be coming to Lommore and asked if he wanted to see them.
He wanted to see Jennifer but was afraid that she might judge him as if he were a troublemaker once more. He also feared that
she would make him apologize to Aiden.
That was why he told his father that he wanted to go to the class instead.
He never expected that she would suddenly appear before him like that and say such things.
“Y-You knew I didn’t push Aiden downstairs?” Felix asked after a pause.
“Yeah. Didn’t your daddy tell you about it? The police discovered that a bullet from an air gun was fired at Aiden. Luckily, you
pushed him away, or he could have been seriously injured,” Jennifer explained.
Felix was confused. His father did not tell him that after he came home.
“Felix, don’t be mad at me, okay? In the future, I’ll not doubt everything you say anymore. No matter what happens, I’ll trust you,”
Jennifer said, “Guille also wants to apologize to you. Come, let’s go find him!”
Jennifer took Felix’s hand and hurried out of the storeroom. However, as they reached the living hall, a line of housekeepers and
security guards had already assembled there.utility room

Victor, Marilyn, and Wyatt from the Serton family were also present.

Jennifer’s face suddenly flashed a trace of panic. She instinctively grabbed Felix’s hand tightly.
Marilyn frowned and gazed at Jennifer, who stood beside her grandson. The commotion this young girl had caused in the manor
left Marilyn feeling embarrassed for the Serton family.
She could not believe none of the adults in the household were able to apprehend that girl.
“Is she Jonathan’s daughter?” Marilyn asked in disdain.
“Yeah, she’s Jennifer Youngblood,” Wyatt said with a faint grin before addressing Jennifer directly. “Didn’t your parents teach you
that it’s not right to break into our house without permission? You should have informed the head of the household in advance if
you wanted to visit us.”
“I just want to see Felix,” Jennifer replied.
“Now that you’ve seen him, can you let go of him?” Wyatt said. “And where’s your brother? You must have come with him,
haven’t you? Where’s he now?”
Jennifer tightened her grip on Felix’s hand and pressed her lips together even more firmly. Clearly, she had no intention of
revealing anything to them.

A steely glint flickered in Wyatt’s eyes. Today, his residence had suffered two power outages, and the security system had yet to
be restored after being hacked. Then, there was this commotion in the house. When he had come out of his room earlier, he had
seen several servants on the ground, with mung beans and banknotes scattered on the floor. Everything that had occurred that
day had certainly been an eye-opener.
He could not believe that the Serton residence had turned upside down all because of two young children. If word got out, no
one would have believed it.
“Come here, Felix,” Wyatt said to his son.
Felix hesitated for a moment but decided to stand still. He could not move because Jennifer was holding his hand tightly.
“Daddy, why didn’t you tell me that Jen and the others came here today because they knew it was not my intention to push Aiden
downstairs? Why didn’t you tell me that Jen came to apologize to me?” Felixfei asked, staring straight into Wyatt’s eyes.

Wyatt gave a slight grin. “I forgot to tell you. You found out about it anyway, didn’t you?”
It was as if it was not a big deal at all.
Felix could not help but bite his lip.

“But, Felix, they misunderstood you and wrongly blamed you. Are you just going to accept their apology and forgive them?”
Wyatt spoke with a cold tone. “When you were there, it seemed like no one believed you. Didn’t Jen standing next to you accuse
you of pushing Aiden downstairs? When you were abused and beaten by the children of the housekeepers in the Youngblood
residence, what did she do? She just stood there idly and watched, right?”
Wyatt delivered those words with a composed demeanor. The smile on his lips still appeared warm, but his words sent a chill
down Jennifer’s spine. The hand she used to hold Felix’s could not help but tremble slightly.
Victor intervened and stated, “That’s enough. You’re an adult, so don’t be mean to a young girl. She’s just a child!”
Wyatt remained unfazed by Victor’s comment. Despite her age, he was concerned that she might influence her son in some way.
“Jen didn’t mean to blame me on purpose.” Felix defended Jennifer.
“Of course, she didn’t mean it. It’s just that she cares more about Aiden than you. If she had cared more about you, she would
have believed that you didn’t push Aiden down the stairs,” Wyatt continued.
The way he spoke as an adult had inevitably cast Jennifer in a negative light.
Jennifer appeared to grasp the surface meaning of his words but was unaware of the underlying implication. She could not
comprehend why Wyatt asserted that she cared more about Aiden when, in reality, she cared equally for both Felix and Aiden.
Felix appeared to have deciphered the hidden message. His life experiences had made him a more mature child than the others,
allowing him to comprehend Wyatt’s words. That was why he chose to remain silent.
“Felix?” Jennifer shook Felix’s hand nervously. Although she did not understand what Wyatt was talking about, one thing she
noticed was that
Wyatt seemed not to want Felix to forgive her.
Felix still remained silent.
Suddenly, Jennifer was overwhelmed with fear. She was afraid that Felix might refuse to forgive her, and that she might lose him
as a friend.
With all sorts of negative scenarios playing in her mind, she embraced Felix and burst into tears.

All the adults in the house were stunned by her unexpected cry.
The cry was so piercing that people who had no knowledge of what was happening might suspect them of abusing a child.
