The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike

Chapter 1109
Ysabel looked at her son mockingly. “Once I go to príson, not only me but the White family and White Maple Group will also be
put to shame. By then, White Maple Group’s share price will plummet, and all the shareholders will suffer heavy losses. Do you
think you can still keep your position as the chairman?”
Ysabel obviously had figured out a retreat for herself in a short time.
“You can only let this matter slide. From now on, I will live my life here, and you will return to the White residence to live your life!”
Ysabel said.
Callum said indifferently, “That’s right. You’ll stay here and live your life, but from now on, you can’t step out of this place!”
Ysabel was stunned. “What do you mean? Are you going to lock me up here? Are you going to detain your own mother?”
“It’s fine if you want to put it that way. From now on, you will spend the rest of your life in this castle and someone will take care
of your daily living. However, you can forget about indulging in a life of luxury,” Callum said.
Ysabel immediately said angrily, “You have no right to lock me up. I’m free to leave whenever I want. I won’t be detained by you!”
“In that case, as long as you take a step out of this castle, the information about your crimes will be sent to the police
immediately. Even if you are not in the country, extradition regulations can be implemented. In that case, you spend the rest of
your life in jail. You’re free to choose between these two options,” Callum said.
Ysabel said in disbelief, “No... No! You won’t do that. Doing so will not benefit you or the White family. Moreover, if you do this,
the company will suffer heavy losses, and the reputation of the White family and you will also be tarnished!”
“I will!” Callum said firmly. “That’s because I’m not only the head of the White family but also Lillian’s husband and my daughter’s
father. I should seek justice for them! If you don’t believe me, you can try stepping out of this castle and see if I will live up to my
word!”
His cold voice wasn’t laced with any hint of hesitation, and his eyes were void of affection as he gazed at her.

Chapter 1109
It was as if their familial affection as mother and son had been gradually exhausted following the series of incidents.
Ysabel felt a chill traveling down her back. The chill was induced by fear. She was afraid of her own son.
That was because he was giving her the feeling that he would truly keep his promise after making the declaration at that
moment.
“No... “You won’t...” she muttered, not knowing who she was trying to convince with her words.
Callum just stared at Ysabel coldly. “From now on, you will stay here for the rest of your life. I will come here in the future to
collect your body, but if you step out of this place, then in the future, I will have to collect your body from prison!”
After saying that, Callum turned around and left without looking back.
Ysabel shouted, “I’m your mother! I’m your mother! Are you going to do this to your mother? Where is your conscience?”
But no matter how she shouted, Callum never stopped!
For him, his mother had died long ago when she ruined all his happiness for money and power. To him, his mother had long
been a goner.
Somehow, Lillian’s heart suddenly palpitated. She felt an inexplicable sense of discomfort in her chest.
After thinking for a while, she sent a message to Callum: [Have you finished handling matters on your end? When will you return
home?]

After a while, her phone rang. It was Callum calling.
Callum said, “I’m already back, but there are still some things to deal with in the company. I’m not going home tonight. I’ll go
back tomorrow. You have a good rest, and don’t be too tired!”
She said, “Oh, okay. By the way, do you want to make a video call? I’ll let you see Yasmin.” Since Yasmin was born, Callum
would video call her during lunch breaks from the office to see her daughter. Lillian could even foresee how much Callum would
dote on their daughter in the future.
But this time, Callum said, “No need. I’ll go home tomorrow anyway, and
I can see her tomorrow. I still have something to do now. I’ll hang up

now.” After saying that, he ended the call.
Looking at the phone in her hand, Lillian felt somewhat uneasy.
She found his behavior a little peculiar.
Usually, he always clung to their daughter and was fond of seeing her. Yet, just now, his voice on the phone was a little strange,
much vaguer than usual.

Lillian held the phone tightly in her hand, got up suddenly, and ordered the nannies, “Take care of the baby. I’m going out for a
short while.”
“Okay, Mrs. White,” the nannies answered quickly.
Lillian left in a hurry and ordered the driver to drive her to the company.
When she arrived at White Maple Group’s company in Strico, Lillian quickly strode inward. As soon as the security guard saw
Lillian, hè hurriedly came forward and greeted, “Hello, Mrs. White.”
“Is the chairman in the company now?” Lillian asked.
“Yes,” The security guard answered. Then, he followed Lillian to the elevator and helped her press the button.
Lillian entered the elevator. It was already evening, so there were not many people in the company except for some overtime and
on-duty staff. When she arrived at the floor where Callum’s office was located, only one secretary was still on duty.
“Is the chairman in the office?” Lillian asked.
“Yes,” the secretary said, but when she saw that Lillian was about to go in, the secretary hurriedly added, “But the chairman gave
the order to forbid anyone from disturbing him.”
Lillian was stunned for a moment, and her anxiety intensified because of the secretary’s words.
“Don’t worry. I’ll go in. I’ll shoulder the responsibility if anything happens. He won’t blame you!” Lillian said and walked toward the
chairman’s office.
The secretary didn’t stop her anymore. She thought, “After all, Mr. White usually doesn’t include Mrs. White in his definition of
‘anyone.”
Lillian gently pushed open the door of the office, but to her surprise, it

was dark in the office as all the lights were switched off.
She wondered shockingly, “Does that mean Callum is not in his office?”
Lillian closed the door, groped for the switch on the wall with her hand, and directly pressed the switch to turn on the light.
Suddenly, the whole room lit up and a man’s angry scold echoed. “Get out! I told you that no one is allowed to enter without my
permission!”
Lillian looked up and saw that Callum was not sitting on the desk at that moment. Instead, he was sitting on the couch in the
reception area. His head was lowered, and he was giving off a gloomy vibe.
“What’s the matter? Are you in a bad mood?” Lillian said.
