Big Novel

The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike

Chapter 164
“Get in the car.” The man spat out those words with his thin lips.
Lillian suddenly looked to be in a dilemma. Though her phone was valuable, the value of freedom was higher! She truly didn’t
want to be locked up in his room for hours like yesterday anymore,
Had Jonathan and Rosalie not come to get her yesterday, she wouldn’t even know when she could leave.
“It’s all right. I happen to want to change my phone, so I don’t need that old one anymore, Lillian said in discomfiture.
“In that case, you don’t need those photos and various social media accounts on your phone anymore, too? By the way, there
seems to be some internal information about your company as well, right? If you really don’t want it anymore, then forget it.
Callum said flatly.
“This... is clearly a threat!” she thought indignantly.
Lillian gritted her teeth. She thought, ‘But there’s clearly a passcode on my phone. Did he... crack it? Is that how he knows about
those photos and information?
And... did he also pry into all my social media accounts?”
“How could you do that!” she fumed.
“So, do you want to get into the car or not?” He avoided her question.
Lillian felt fit to be tied. When she saw him back then, she thought he was a courteous, adorable guy. Thus, she couldn’t
comprehend why he turned into his current state in just a few years.
Anyhow, at present, Lillian had no choice but to open the back door of the car dejectedly and sit beside Callum.
When she got into the vehicle, she saw that Callum was actually playing with her phone.
“My phone!” she exclaimed, reflexively wanting to get her phone back.
Unfortunately, before she could touch the device, his hand caught her. “You seem to be living well all these years,” he remarked
leisurely, clicking on the photos in her phone with his free hand. There were all kinds of pictures of her smiling-some being travel

photos, some of daily life, and some of her eating good food outside. According to these photos, she indeed had been living a
pretty good life.
Still, the problem was that the majority of people would naturally only take photos when they were happy. No one would take
photos when they were sad
“It’s all right,” Lillian responded awkwardly,
She wriggled her wrist and tried to break free from his fingers.
Being grabbed by him this way made her feel weird as if his temperature was being transmitted to her through his fingers.
Moreover, it had to be said that his fingers were quite attractive. At that time, she had always been obsessed with his fingers and
even once asked him shamelessly, “Your fingers are so attractive. How about you let me touch them?”
Needless to say, what happened later was that he actually brought his hand to her and allowed her to feel him up as she wished.
As someone with a thing for hands, she had to admit that touching his fingers felt... great.
“Wait a minute! What the hell am I thinking?” she mused.
All of a sudden, Lillian came back to her senses and nearly wanted to slap herself for still fantasizing about his fingers at this
juncture.
As soon as she looked up, she met Callum’s stunning, dark eyes again.
However, at this moment, his eyes seemed to be looking at her with a layer of emotion that she couldn’t decipher.
The next instant, his fingers released her wrist, and Lillian was finally free.
“What do you intend to do to make me return your phone?” Callum asked coldly.
Lillian blinked and wondered, “What do I intend to do? Shouldn’t he be giving it back to me now?”
“Do I have to pay? The moment Lillian asked this, even she herself felt stupid. After all, how could a person of Callum’s status
care about her money?
Sure enough, he smirked and looked at her as if she were an idiot,

“Then, what do you want?” She took a deep breath. Anyway, no matter what she chose, his wrath was inevitable. She guessed
that the man was simply trying to vent his anger of more than three years on her by using her phone.
“Fine, ll let him vent his anger this time,” she thought.
“Have you been in any relationship over the past three years?” Callum asked.
She shook her head, unsure why he asked that.
“Then, was there anyone you liked?”
“Um... Plenty. I can’t even count all the celebrities I like with both hands!” she pondered.
However, facing his expressionless face now, she almost instinctively shook her head.
“Speaking of which, back then, you seemed to have said that if you had a boyfriend like me, you’d feel blissed, right?” he
prompted casually once more.
Lillian nearly choked on her saliva, thinking, “T-Those were... just the words of my young and immature self! Didn’t Rosalie say
he’s the chairman of White Maple Group and the head of the White family now? How could I possibly have any thoughts about
him?”
“Ha! That was just pleasantries. I’d be blissed even if I had an ordinary, acceptable boyfriend. My requirements for happiness are
relatively low” She smiled uncomfortably, having no idea what she was even answering anymore.
The man glanced at her and didn’t say anything more. Instead, he lowered his head and continued to play with her phone,
checking her browsing history.
Lillian was horrified. “Last week, 1-I just... read a boys’ love novel! There’s no way he can see it!” she exclaimed on the inside.
Sadly, her tiny hope was soon dashed, as he had already scrolled down to her browsing history of a week ago and opened. the
links randomly.
Just as Callum clicked on the link to that boys’ love novel, Lillian shouted out of nowhere, “Hold up!”
“Hmm?” He raised an eyebrow and peered at her.

“This phone is my privacy, at the least. It’s inappropriate... for you to snoop like this, no?”
“Privacy” He took a gander at her. Then, what about when you saw every inch of my skin back then? How much of my privacy
did you invade?”
Her face turned as red as a tomato while words escaped her. Fine. She was the one at fault. But... “It’s not like I forced you.”
She defended herself under her breath.
“Yes, you didn’t force me, but you seem to have forgotten what you once said.
you and that you wouldn’t fall for any other man except me. You also said at night, you told me I was the only one for
ideal boyfriend..”
I was stunning, obedient, and practically your
Every time Callum repeated the sweet nothings she had said while drunk that night, her face grew even redder.
“Geez! I’m practically the definition of a fuckgirl, all right!” she reflected.
Lillian lowered her head and stopped defending herself. After all, she had indeed said those things.
“In the end, you even said. ‘Till death do us part.’ Did you forget that too? And that was probably the funniest joke you said that
night that I ever heard!” His face closed in on her as he spoke.
