The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike

Chapter 393
“Fiona.” Calvin said, “For me, you are different from any other woman. You once saved my life.”
Fiona was bewildered by his words.
Fiona looked at him in a daze and didn’t understand why he suddenly said this to her.
Calvin added, “So, I will try my best to give you all you want. If you want to live a luxurious life, to be able to stick out proudly in
front of other people, or even to be a popular star, I will help you!”

Hearing this, Fiona’s eyes lit up and she looked excited.
Calvin looked at her excited expression and suddenly, he somehow felt disappointed.
He couldn’t believe the woman in front of him right now was the woman he had been dreaming about.
Fiona blushed even more. “Calvin, you are so kind to me!” She was so excited because she thought that her dream was coming
true little by little. She was fascinated by the idea that she was going to be a big shot and everyone who used to look down on
her would kneel at her feet in the near future!
But the next moment, Calvin’s words darkened her mood and made her turn pale.
Calvin said, “But that’s all. You did save my life. But that’s all!”
Fiona suddenly felt as if she was stabbed by a penknife. She thought he seemed to be warning her not to dream too much.
She looked at Calvin’s charming eyes in a daze and only found calmness and indifference in them.
Fiona felt quite bitter about Calvin’s words. This was how he was usually like, a typical mogul in the entertainment industry!
Fiona knew if she hadn’t taken Rosalie’s place and pretended to be the person who once saved him, he wouldn’t have even
given her a glance, not to mention talking face-to-face with her!

After all, Calvin had been nice to Fiona so far only because of what Rosalie had done!
Calvin said to Fiona, “Okay. I’ll drive you home first and then I’ll go back to Strico.”
Fiona followed Calvin into the car, clenching the hem of her skirt tightly with both hands to suppress the anger, jealousy, and
sense of loss.
She thought, “Yes, I got all this thanks to Rosalie. So what? I will not back down now!”
It took Fiona a long time and energy to get so far. She would definitely take the place of Rosalie completely. She decided to
make good use of this and marry into a rich family!
The car was racing toward Strico. Jonathan remained silent along the way. He kept gently stroking Rosalie’s wrist. It was where
Calvin grabbed her when she walked away from him and when she fell off the cliff.
Even now, Rosalie’s wrist was still red. The redness hadn’t faded away, setting off the fairness of her skin.
Jonathan’s fingers gently touched the red marks on her wrist over and over again. Rosalie felt her skin that was touched by
Jonathan was getting hotter and hotter, with a slightly pricking sensation.
Jonathan finally said, breaking the silence, “Does it hurt?”
Rosalie bit her lips and said, “A little.”
Jonathan held Rosalie’s hand and kissed the red marks. He then stuck out his tongue and licked her wrist carefully.
In an instant, Rosalie stiffened and flushed. She wondered what he was trying to do.
He was absolutely cold and indifferent before but now he became alluring out of the blue. The way he licked Rosalie’s skin was
seductive.
Jonathan asked lightly, with a charming and soft look, “How do you feel now? Does it still hurt?”
Rosalie stammered, “No. It doesn’t hurt anymore.”
How could she still feel pain right at that moment? She was overwhelmed by his softness.

Jonathan kept kissing the red marks on her wrist. She felt embarrassed, about to withdraw her hand. After all, they were not
alone in the car.
But Jonathan grabbed her hand stubbornly and tightly, stopping her from withdrawing her hand.
Jonathan said, “Don’t move!”
Rosalie looked embarrassed. “But...”
Jonathan said, “Don’t move. Please, don’t move. Otherwise, I might do something that even surprises myself.” He was nearly
pleading her and his hand holding her wrist was shaking slightly.
Rosalie was stunned and thought he had changed a bit since he found her on the mountain earlier.
But there were other people present, so she couldn’t ask him about it directly.
The driver and Carlos, who was sitting in the front, almost froze when they heard Jonathan’s words.
They couldn’t believe what Jonathan just said. After all, as a domineering man, he never begged a woman like that.
Rosalie hesitated for a moment and stopped moving.
Jonathan gently closed his eyes and continued to kiss her wrist.
Jonathan kissed Rosalie as if he wanted to remove all the marks left by Calvin and stamp his own brand on her.
What would Jonathan do if Rosalie took her hand back? Would be break her arm?
Numerous questions flashed through Jonathan’s mind: Why was Calvin carrying her on his back? How important was Calvin to
her?
Jonathan finally realized how it felt when his emotions were totally controlled by another person.
Jonathan’s father had experienced it before. Now, it was his turn!
But Jonathan’s situation was different from his father’s. He would never be betrayed! Rosalie said that he was the one she loved!
Jonathan kept kissing her wrist and rubbing his cheeks against it, feeling like a cautious child.

When the car stopped at the door of the Youngblood residence, Carlos said respectfully, “Mr. Youngblood, here we are!”
Jonathan’s long and black eyelashes fluttered slightly. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at Rosalie affectionately. Then he
held her up in his arms and carried her out of the car.
Rosalie screamed. At this moment, after being kissed and rubbed by him just now, the wrist of her right hand was almost numb.
She felt the blood all over her body pouring toward her right wrist.
Being carried out of the car by Jonathan made Rosalie not know what to do!
Rosalie called, “Jon!” She motioned to Jonathan to put her down but he directly carried her back to the bedroom.
Jonathan put Rosalie on the bed, intertwined his fingers with hers, and put her hands above her head. “Tell me why you were
with Calvin, why he was carrying you on his back, and what did you say to him?”
