The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike

Chapter 464
He had given the order. The men he had arranged for would stop her. Even so, he still wanted to see her with his own eyes and
personally ask what happened to this child!
But he hadn’t expected that seeing the child again would give him another surprise.
He didn’t anticipate that he was the child he had met before.
At that time, he had an inexplicable affection for the child and even wanted to sponsor him.
He couldn’t have thought that... This child was hers!
Warren bent down, his gaze locked on the little boy before him. Their profound, black eyes were someone similar.
“You... What’s your name?” His voice was hoarse.
“I’m called Aiden.” The boy smiled at Warren.
When Warren saw this smile, he finally realized why he liked this little boy in the first place. When Aiden smiled, he looked very
much like Amelia!
Aiden?
“Then... Where’s your daddy?” His voice became more and more hoarse.
Upon hearing this, the boy’s initially happy expression suddenly became slightly gloomy. “He’s not here anymore. Mommy said
Daddy is in heaven.”
In heaven? Warren immediately picked up the little guy and walked to Amelia, who was already pale.
“Give... Give the kid to me,” she said, trembling.
“Amelia, if you don’t want this kid to watch you making a fool out of yourself, come with me now,” Warren declared coldly.
Amelia shivered. She gritted her teeth.
His words were like a death knell.

Was there no way to run away?
Even though she had tried her best, she still couldn’t escape. He had even uncovered Aiden’s existence.
She wanted to shout. She wanted to punch someone. She wanted to rip Aiden from his arms. But looking at her son’s innocent,
pure face, she couldn’t get the words out.
The adult world was too ugly. At the very least, she wished Aiden’s world wouldn’t be polluted.
“Okay, I... I’ll go with you,” she bit out.
Aiden seemed to understand as he listened. He asked, “Mommy, where are we going? Aren’t we going to take the train?”
“Be good for a moment... We’ll go somewhere with this mister. We... We won’t be taking the train for now. Next time, alright?”
“But what about grandma? Doesn’t Grandma have to go?” He asked suspiciously.
Amelia couldn’t help but look in the direction where Matilda should have been now. “There’s no need. Mommy will call Grandma
later and tell her we’ll take the train next time.”
Aiden was disappointed that he couldn’t take the train today, but he was overjoyed when he met this man who helped him find
his hearing aid, He chattered to Warren enthusiastically. He could now hear and say many things.
Warren also interacted with Aiden and answered some of his questions. Amelia trailed behind them, listening to them with
conflicting emotions.
Once upon a time, he wanted nothing to do with the child. But now, he was patiently talking to him.
How ironic!
Outside the station, there was already a car waiting for them. The subordinate who was accompanying Warren opened the back
seat door.
Amelia took a deep breath and got into the car with Warren.
Just then, Amelia’s phone rang. She looked at the caller ID and found that it was her mother calling.
Matilda’s anxious voice as soon as she picked up. “Amelia, where are you? The ticket inspection will be over if you don’t

come soon.”
“Aiden and I can’t make it, Mom. You should find an inn to stay for a while,” Amelia said.
“What’s going on?” Matilda demanded.
Amelia looked up and met Warren’s eyes. He seemed to want to see how she would answer, and there was a trace of mockery
in the set of his mouth.
Aiden, who was sitting between them, also looked up at her.
The father and son shared similar eyes, but they had never been more alike than now.
“Aiden and I are with Warren right now,” Amelia explained calmly.
There was a gasp on the other end of the phone, followed by Matilda’s panicked voice. “He... Did he see Aiden? Then he... and
you...”
Matilda was nearly stammering.
“Mom, don’t worry. I will handle it.” After saying that, Amelia ended the call.
“You’ll handle it?” Warren said coldly. “I’m dying to know what you’re going to do.”
Amelia choked. Aiden, who had been sitting between them, seemed to be frightened by Warren’s stony voice. But then he
.raised his chin and said to Warren, “Don’t talk to Mommy like this, mister. Mommy will be afraid.”
Even though he had no idea what they were talking about, he could tell his mother was scared.
He wanted to protect his mommy!
Thinking about this, the little boy turned sideways and faced Warren, Amelia behind him, as if to protect her.
Looking at this little body before him, Warren couldn’t help but remain silent. Before this, the small kid had been cordial to him,
but now his cheeks were puffed up as if he wouldn’t let Warren scare his mother Amelia at all.
Was this... his child? Even if he denied it in his heart, he couldn’t overlook it anymore as he gazed at the eyes almost akin to

his.
If the child was truly his, then... When did she get pregnant?
“Tell me, how old are you?” He asked in a low voice.
Aiden blinked and held up two fingers. “I’ll be two years old in four months!”
Two months... Warren was shocked. Had she already been three months pregnant before she was imprisoned?
He suddenly remembered that at that time, she had said to him hoarsely, “Warren, I’m pregnant. It’s yours!”
And how had he answered?
For a moment, he dared not recall what he had said then.
His eyes fell on Aiden’s hearing aid. There was a small, fluorescent blue cartoon shell on the device. He looked cute wearing it.
But it reminded him that he was a deaf child.
This child would remain deaf and mute for the rest of his life if he didn’t have a hearing aid!
Was Warren’s child actually disabled?
