Chapter 626
“Didn’t Rosalie care about Lucas instead? Why did she end up marrying Jonathan? Is it because she is pregnant? No! I need to
ask her directly,” Calvin pondered.
After the call, Calvin suddenly stood up and grabbed the car key. He was about to walk outside.
“Hey! Hold on a second. Where are you headed?” Alan quickly stopped him.
“I’m going to find Rosalie. I want to find out what’s going on. Is there something else she’s hiding?” Calvin replied anxiously.
His mind was consumed by thoughts of that morning’s events, replaying them over and over again. He remembered her
expression when she stopped his car. At that moment, he closed his eyes and ignored her because he was jealous. He
eventually noticed the despair in her eyes.
“Was there something I missed back then?” The mere thought of it caused his heart to ache.
“You haven’t recovered yet! Let me drive you there. I’ll go with you,” Alan kindly offered. After all, he was responsible for this as
well since he was the one who showed this photo to Calvin.
Moreover, he had known Calvin and Jonathan for a long time. He was worried there would be another conflict between them
because of Rosalie.
After all, Alan didn’t forget the scene when Jonathan choked Calvin for Rosalie.
As Calvin remained silent, Alan seized the moment to swiftly snatch the car key from his grasp.
Shortly after, a silver-gray car drove out of the mansion.
Meanwhile, Rosalie walked out of the physical examination room and saw Jonathan playing with her phone.
“Are all the checkups completed?” He looked up at her.
“Yes, but all the reports will not be available until tomorrow,” Rosalie responded as she attempted to retrieve her phone from him.
However, Jonathan didn’t intend to return the phone to her. Instead, he asked, “Did you delete my phone number?”
She felt embarrassed right away. “Yes.” After the breakup, she wanted to completely cut ties, so she naturally deleted his phone
number.
Nevertheless, human memory did not resemble a phone that allowed you to erase it at your convenience. Despite the phone
numbers being deleted, she could still effortlessly recite both of them.
Jonathan typed rapidly on Rosalie’s phone with his slender fingers, effortlessly controlling it with one hand. His movements were
graceful.
He saved his two phone numbers on her phone before giving it back to her.
Rosalie gazed at the two numbers he had saved in her phone under the name: [Husband].
Her face suddenly turned red, and she began to think, “Husband? Indeed. I am already married to him,
and I should start getting accustomed to the changes in certain titles.”
“Don’t ever delete my phone number in the future. Never!” He stooped down, casting a nearly horizontal gaze upon her.
She felt an immediate heaviness in her heart.
After getting out of the hospital and sitting in the car, Rosalie felt sleepy and fell asleep unintentionally. As Jonathan gazed at
Rosalie’s slumbered look, a gentle smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. Finally, she became his wife.
Even though he didn’t care about this piece of paper, it could keep her by his side.
Even if she was with him for Lillian and the babies, it didn’t matter. He simply wanted her to stay with him and not leave.
“Rosalie, if you decide to leave me in the future, remember that I won’t be as ‘gentle’ as I was in the past. I will take stronger
measures, ensuring that you never have the chance to spread your wings again. Even if hate me or kneel again, I won’t let you
go,” he whispered to himself, the words only audible to him in that instant.

Jonathan’s gaze remained fixed on Rosalie, his eyes brimming with a captivating infatuation.
Jonathan never expected that Rosalie could make him so obsessed.
Despite the great pain caused by Rosalie, Jonathan hesitated to harm Rosalie and desired to have her stay
with him.
“Do I have strong feelings for her like my father had for my mother? But I’m not the same as my father, and my future won’t be
the same either...” Jonathan mused.
Suddenly, the initially stable car changed direction, and the driver immediately slammed on the emergency brake.
Rosalie woke up in a daze due to the car’s sudden brake. She heard Jonathan asking, “What happened?” “Mr. Youngblood, we
were just forced to stop by a car,” the driver quickly explained to Jonathan. “Forced to stop?” Deep in thought, Rosalie was
stunned for a moment. When she glanced out the window, her body trembled upon seeing the silver-gray car.
It was Calvin’s car.
Then, Rosalie saw a familiar figure coming out of the vehicle.
It was Calvin.
Rosalie was confused as she observed him. Suddenly, someone hugged her tightly from behind, and she leaned into his
embrace. “What’s the matter? Why are you staring so intently at Calvin? What’s going on in your mind at this moment? Are you
feeling sorry for him? Or, do you regret getting married to me?” She heard a faint, murmuring voice in her ears. His soft tone was
like a delicate whisper, as if flirting, yet chillingly cold.
Rosalie bit her lip slightly and uttered, “I don’t regret marrying you. As for Calvin, he saved my life. Without him, I wouldn’t be
here now, sitting in the car and talking to you, and the three babies in my belly wouldn’t be safe and sound.”
After a pause, she turned sideways slightly and looked at him. “Jon, I need to talk to him and explain something to him.”
He thought for a moment and asked, “Jon? Are you calling me Jon now? Are you afraid that I won’t let you leave the car and talk
to Calvin?”
“Whether you promise me to get out of the car or not, I will call you Jon. We are married. We’re husband and wife now.
Regardless of our past, we are now married. Wouldn’t it be strange if I continued to address you as Mr. Youngblood? What I said
at City Hall was serious, not casual. Now that I’ve chosen to get married, I want to make it work,” she replied.
He gazed intensely at her and eventually agreed, “Sure, go ahead and explain it to him.”
As he uttered those words, he reached out his arm and proactively opened the door for her.
As Rosalie stepped out of the car, Calvin’s pupils immediately contracted, and he started shaking.
