The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike

Chapter 660
Suddenly, Jonathan’s eyes turned red. It was either due to extreme nervousness or intense anticipation that his body and lips
were trembling slightly.
“You love me... Really?” Jonathan murmured. Even his voice was trembling.
“Really,” Rosalie replied. “Would it even be fake? Jon, I love you. I once thought it might take a long time to love you once again,
but it seems that love doesn’t have an absolute connection with time.”
There was no earth-shattering matter or special opportunity that existed. It was as if it were just so natural that she had come to
a clear understanding of her current feelings.
She thought, “Loving him is just like this, isn’t it?”
Jonathan suddenly hugged Rosalie tightly again. “You love me. You said that yourself, so you can’t go back on your word!”
“Of course. I won’t take it back,” Rosalie said as she heard Jonathan’s choked voice. “Jon, are you crying?” Jonathan did not
answer her but buried his face deeper into the crook of her neck instead. He inhaled her scent as if to imprint everything about
her in his mind.
On the other hand, Rosalie only felt a wetness on her shoulder.
When Rosalie and Jonathan slowly walked out of the cemetery, Carlos, who was waiting outside, looked at Jonathan and noticed
that his boss’ eyes were reddened, which shocked him utterly.
As for Rosalie, on the contrary, she looked quite in high spirits with a faint smile on her face.
Carlos only felt that the scene before him was inexplicably like one of those moments where a grown man was bullying his young
wife, and the wife’s eyes turned red with tears of grievance while the husband appeared refreshed and happy.
However, this scene was like a reversed version.
Carlos wondered if Jonathan was bullied even to the extent that his eyes turned red from crying.
“Crying?” Carlos was startled by his fleeting thoughts. Then, he comforted himself by thinking that it was absolutely impossible to
happen and that there was no way Jonathan would cry. He then suspected that Jonathan’s eyes turned red because the wind

had blown some sand into them earlier.
Yet, while Carlos was just thinking about it, Rosalie’s words completely shattered his thoughts the very
next moment.
“All right. Look at you. I wouldn’t have said that just now if I had known you would cry. Your eyes are a little swollen,” Rosalie said
as she observed Jonathan’s eyes.
However, even with slightly swollen eyes from crying, Jonathan still looked breathtaking, especially since his watery eyes gave
out an even more pitiful feeling after crying.
Of course, if Jonathan knew what Rosalie was thinking at that moment, he would probably feel nonplussed.
Standing on the side, Carlos was immediately petrified.
He could not believe that Jonathan really cried.
Carlos thought, “What... What exactly did Mrs. Youngblood say that could make Mr. Youngblood cry?” “Even if my eyes are
swollen, you still have to say it. You can’t say nothing!” Jonathan said, thinking that Rosalie had no idea how important it was to
him that she said she loved him.
“All right, all right!” Rosalie said as if she were soothing a child. She even raised her hand to caress Jonathan’s head like a
puppy.
Hence, Carlos continued to be petrified at seeing the scene.
He thought, “Only Mrs. Youngblood could do such a thing to Mr. Youngblood. If someone else did it, their hands would be cut off!”

Jonathan enjoyed Rosalie’s gentle caress and said after a while, “Okay, let’s get in the car.” With that, he glared at Carlos, who
was still in shock.
Carlos shivered and immediately returned to his senses, lowering his head quickly.

He then thought, “Oh, goodness gracious. Have I seen what I shouldn’t have seen just now? Will Mr. Youngblood kill me?”
Not long after they got in the car and started their journey, Carlos’ phone rang. After answering it for a moment, Carlos turned
around and informed Jonathan, who was sitting in the backseat, “Mr. Youngblood, Callum has shown up!”
Rosalie exclaimed, “What? Where is Callum?”
“Callum appeared to be with the Tall family in Jacaster, but he just showed up secretly. The police still do not know about his
whereabouts, and the White family probably doesn’t, too,” Carlos explained.
Rosalie was stunned again after hearing Carlos mention the Tall family.
“The Tall family of Josephine?” she asked hurriedly. After all, Josephine once came to Lillian for a demonstration back then and
said that she was the fiancée designated by the White family for Callum.
Later, Rosalie and Lillian almost had a car accident because of Josephine’s tricks.
That was why Callum rushed back to the White family, and this matter could also be seen as a trigger.
“Yes, but Josephine is just an adopted daughter of the Tall family. Now, the family’s real daughter has returned, and her name is
Madeline Tall. This time, Callum went back to the Tall family with her secretly,” Carlos said.
Rosalie was stunned as she could not understand why Madeline would return to her family with Callum. She also wondered why
Callum did not report to the police.
“So, are we able to contact Callum?” Rosalie asked.
Carlos shook his head. “I’m afraid not. It was just a coincidence that we found out about Callum’s secret meeting with the Tall
family this time. Besides, Jacaster is not our territory. Our subordinates can’t get near Callum at all.”
Rosalie turned silent. She did not understand why Callum was with the Tall family.
Jonathan gently patted Rosalie on the shoulder. “All right, let’s not overthink it. At least it can now prove that Callum is still alive!
As for the reason why he is with the Tall family, you can find out later.”
Rosalie nodded and thought this was the only way now, but she was unsure whether Callum knew about Lillian’s situation.

Callum loved Lillian very much, so he would definitely come to see her if he knew what had happened.
“Can you try to send a message to Callum as much as possible and tell him about Lillian’s current situation? No matter what,
Lillian is now... She really needs him,” Rosalie said after pondering for a while.
She hoped that Lillian could see Callum when she woke up.
“Okay. I’ll ask my subordinates to find a chance and send the news to Callum,” Jonathan agreed and changed the topic. “It’s
almost noon. Is there anything you want to eat?”
“Anything is fine,” Rosalie replied, her thoughts still entirely on Callum and Lillian’s matters.
Jonathan frowned slightly and lifted his hand to hold Rosalie’s chin so she could face him. “You care
about Lillian’s and Amelia’s matters, but can you also care more about your husband? Like when you’re with me, just think about
me. How about that?”
Rosalie suddenly blushed. The word “husband” made her feel strange.
“Of course, I care about you too,” replied Rosalie.
“How much do you care?” Jonathan asked.
“Um...” Rosalie blinked her eyes and thought, “Is... he jealous?”
