The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike

Chapter 787
Jonathan pursed his thin lips and said, “There won’t be any stepmother.” This statement was tantamount to giving the answer in
disguise.
Guillermo responded with an “oh,” then lowered his head again and ate his food.
When Jennifer heard that there would not be any stepmother, the sorrow on her face immediately disappeared and she had
dinner happily with her brother.
After dinner, Rosalie played with the two children for a while, then helped her son complete his homework assigned by the
kindergarten. Of course, she didn’t need to help. Her son was far smarter than she thought. She was just looking around and
handing her son the material to be used for the homework.
Jennifer was excited and said, “Mommy, when can I go to kindergarten with Guille?”
“The formalities are almost done. You can go to kindergarten next week,” Rosalie said.
Jennifer was immediately overjoyed.
After Guillermo finished his homework at the kindergarten, Rosalie asked the two children to play together first. Then she went to
the study and planned to explain things regarding Calvin to Jonathan clearly.
After all, he didn’t speak to her during dinner and left directly after the meal.
It was as if he was upset.
When she arrived at the study, she found that he was not in there.
Thinking he had gone back to the bedroom, Rosalie headed over. There was no one in it, but she heard the sound of water
coming from the bathroom.
She thought, “Is he taking a bath?” She pulled a chair and sat down, waiting for him.
She looked around and was suddenly stunned. There was a stack of documents on the coffee table, and the photos on the
documents were clearly her and Calvin.

It was news about her and Calvin on the bus five years ago.
11:18
At that time, she had fallen asleep on the bus. In order to prevent her
head from hitting the glass window, Calvin had put his hand between her head and the glass window. Someone had taken a
video and posted it online.
The news had been trending, but it had soon been removed.
Rosalie looked at a tablet next to the documents. After hesitating for a while, she touched it gently with her fingers. Suddenly, the
black screen lit up, and there was a video that had been paused.
That video was the scene on the bus.
Rosalie tapped the screen, and then the video began to play. Obviously, the video had been watched for the most part. It was a
ten-minute video, but there were less than five minutes left at that moment.
Rosalie suddenly felt uneasy.
She wondered, “Calvin came over today, and Jon is watching the news and video of that year. Did Jon really misunderstand
something?” Just as she was guessing in her heart, the bathroom door opened. Jonathan came out of the bathroom and was
stunned when he saw Rosalie sitting on a chair.
When his eyes landed on the tablet that was playing the video, he said coldly, “I didn’t allow you to touch my things. Get out.”
Rosalie stood up and didn’t walk out of the bedroom. Instead, she walked toward Jonathan. “Jon, there is nothing going on
between Calvin and me. Yes, I know he has feelings for me, but I have made it clear to him, and you are the only one I love all
the time.”
The expression on his face became colder and colder. “I don’t want to know what’s going on between you and him. I’m going to
sleep now. We’ll talk tomorrow.”
Since this afternoon, when he saw her and Calvin at the gate of the Youngblood residence, there was an irritation in his heart
that even he couldn’t explain.

Although he had lost the memory related to her, he knew more or less that there seemed to be some history between Calvin and
her.
He had never cared about this past before.
After all, she was just a deceased wife to him. There was no need for him to care what happened between her and Calvin.
However, he didn’t expect that she would suddenly appear in front of
him and even make him seem to care more and more about her.
Seeing her with Calvin, he would be irritable and uneasy. His heart would even contract violently. A feeling that he had never
experienced before would fill his whole body.
“No. I must make things clear now.” Rosalie looked straight at Jonathan. “I know you have forgotten certain things. I can tell you
right from the beginning. I met Calvin in my grandmother’s home when I was a child...” “I don’t want to hear it. So what if you
make things clear?” he interrupted her.
“I don’t want you to misunderstand,” Rosalie said directly. “Since you are investigating what happened between Calvin and me,
why not I tell you myself?”
“Maybe what I’ve investigated is more true than what you’ll say. It’s the first time I have seen Calvin treat a woman like
video, did you also fall in love with him?” He this. When you saw this
smile.
“No. I only love you,” Rosalie said.
at her with a faint
“You only love me?” He suddenly leaned down, and his handsome face was close to hers. “Then tell me why you married me
back then. Was it because you loved me? Was it because of the babies? Or was it because Calvin didn’t give you the money for
Lillian’s expensive medical bill, so you came to me?”
Rosalie was stunned. “You know that? You remember?”

“I don’t need to remember anything. I can know about these things by looking into it.” He sneered.
Rosalie was silent. Indeed, she had married him because of her children and Lillian’s medical expenses, but it was also because
she had him in her heart.
After getting married, she knew her heart and what she wanted.
Her silence made that feeling of annoyance in him grow stronger again.
He thought, “Sure enough, she didn’t marry me willingly in the first place!” He then asked, “Why have you stopped explaining?
So what I said was true? You married me just because of the children and Lillian!” “It seems that no matter what I say, you will
never believe me.” After all, he had no memory of the past. He just relied on the information from the investigation. If they
continued to talk about them, it would only get
worse. “You get some rest and calm down first. We’ll talk about it after that.”
