Lucas was looking down at his phone, flipping through files. He never expected Sherman and Melody to have so much to talk about. They were deep in conversation when Thalia knocked on the door to Melody's room.
Melody looked somewhat curious toward the door. 'Why are so many people coming to see me today?'
However, her smile faltered when she saw who it was.
"Hi there, Melody. Sorry to bother you again. I hope my presence here won't cause you too much trouble. Lucas is taking me back, so I figured I'd just come here." Melody kept her smile, though it had faded. "Ah, I see. Of course, it's no trouble at all. My scene is already over. You two can head back first if you want," said Melody.
Thalia looked at Lucas coquettishly, but there was also a hint of impatience in her eyes as well.
However, Sherman showed no intention of leaving, so how could Lucas even think about leaving?
"I'm not in a hurry. It's almost lunchtime, anyway. Let's grab a meal together," Lucas suggested, glancing at his watch.
"Yeah, it's about time for lunch," Sherman agreed.
Sherman was surprised to see Thalia. 'When did she come back?'
However, Thalia did not seem surprised to see him there because she did not recognize him.
"By the way, who's this gentleman here?"
Thalia glanced at Lucas instinctively, and Lucas simply uttered two words, "My cousin."
"Oh, so you're Lucas' cousin. Nice to meet you," said Thalia.
Sherman reached out his hand. "Hello. I've heard Lucas would fly to Molomia to visit you whenever he has the time."
"Not really... Lucas is always so busy with work!" Thalia said, a bit shyly, playfully hitting her own head. She looked at Lucas bashfully. However, Lucas remained stiff. "Don't make things up."
Sherman nodded understandingly. "I was just kidding. Come on, let's all go grab lunch together. It's fate that we've all met here."
Melody just wanted to go back to her dormitory and be alone. She did not want to continue participating in this kind of superficial socializing.
"You guys go ahead. I'm feeling a bit tired. I want to go back and rest," she said.

Sherman immediately said with
concern, "That won't do. You haven't had lunch yet. No matter how tiredn O you are you need to fill your stomach before resting. Otherwise, you'll just keep getting thinner." Lucas shared the same sentiment. "If you're tired, I can buy food and bring it to your dorm." Visit bignovels.com to read

No one seemed to inquire about Thalia's opinion, causing her expression to turn
sour.
'That Melody really knows how to play her cards. Sherman looks like she's been bewitched by this manipulative woman as well! How useless!'

Melody remained silent for a
moment, unsure of what to say. She really did not want to talk to themm and she did not know where Thalia got the confidence that she would hear the answer she wanted. "Well, if you're already tired, there's no need to stay for lunch. Thalia, you wait here. I'll take Melody back to the dorm," Lucas intervened.
