The Day I Kissed An Older Man

As the hostess, Melody returned to the Riveras' mansion early with Lucas and
changed into a suitable gown. Her gown perfectly accentuated her graceful figure without being overly revealing, giving her an air
of nobility and elegance.
Lucas was very pleased to see the gown he personally chose being worn by Melody.
"May I have the honor of inviting you to dance?" asked Lucas with a smile.
Blushing, Melody extended her hand and lifted her face, appearing as elegant as a swan. "Of course," she replied.
The two of them danced back and forth in the room. When Lucas firmly held Melody in his arms, he finally felt a sense of security and was reluctant to let go of her hand.
It was only when the housekeeper knocked on the door to urge them that Lucas let go of Melody.
Before going downstairs, Lucas looked at Melody and asked, "Are you nervous?"
Strangely, Melody was nervous before, turning her hands and feet cold, but after the dance with Lucas, she did not seem so afraid anymore.
It did not matter how many people would be there at the party. After all, there were just as many people around when she was shooting a movie. Sometimes, she even had to perform very 'abnormal' scenes in front of others.
'If I can do it then, then I can do it now too!' she thought to herself.
"With you by my side, I'm not afraid at all."
Lucas lifted her hand to his lips and planted a kiss on it with a smile. "I'll always be by your side, no matter when. Just remember that."
As they opened the door, the two of them appeared at the staircase hand in hand. Downstairs, people holding champagne glasses turned their heads to look at the hosts of the evening.
"They make such a perfect couple. It's truly good to be young."
"Even though she's in the entertainment industry, her aura doesn't seem like that of an ordinary actress."
"He's so handsome, and she's so beautiful. No wonder Lucas spared no expense in building a studio for Melody!"
The room was abuzz with remarks
like that, but Melody was too busy to
pay attention to them. She and Lucas descended the stairs under the gaze of the guests and walked up to Beatrice and Cedric.
The two elderly people were both dressed in matching outfits and seemed very pleased.
Melody hugged Beatrice first. "Grandma, happy birthday. I wish you good health and a long life."
Beatrice smiled and patted her on the back. Thank you, dear. Seeing you both so happy makes me very happy too. I'll definitely try to live as long as possible so that I can hold a great-grandchild in my arms."
