The Day I Kissed An Older Man

Lucas did not believe Wendy was foolish enough not to have meticulously planned the whole thing before taking any action against Melody. She must have a specific purpose in mind by sending him those photos of Melody.
[I don't want anything. I just want you to see what your beloved woman looks like right now. Do you still love her now that she looks like crap?]
Lucas pondered over the question, unsure of what kind of response Wendy was expecting.
Wendy sat beside Melody holding her phone. She even purposely propped her against the wall so she could see Lucas' response the moment they received it.
"Just wait. Let's see if this man really loves you more than he loves your face," said Wendy.
She looked invested as if she were conducting a special experiment.
"What benefit do you gain from doing this? Don't I deserve my own happily ever after at all?" Melody asked lightly, occasionally taking a few breaths as if her wounds were very painful.
"Of course not!" answered Wendy without skipping a beat. "Why should you get your happily ever after if I don't get mine? You'd better not talk anymore. You should save your energy in case this man's answer breaks your heart."
"Why are you so convinced that Lucas only loves me for my looks and not me as a person?" asked Melody.
After all, Lucas never had any interaction with Wendy before. Melody struggled to understand the root of all this.
"It's a given. Don't you know he has an unforgettable first love?" Wendy smirked cunningly. "Don't you want to know who she is? Well, let me tell you, it's Thalia's sister, Claudia! Claudia died trying to save your man, and she'll forever remain in his heart. You'll never be able to win against her!"
Melody's reaction to this earth-shattering revelation was surprisingly calm.
"Aren't you surprised? Aren't you curious?" Wendy's expression quickly darkened. She had expected Melody to beg her for more information, but her reaction caught her off-guard.
"How did you know about Claudia? Are you in contact with Thalia?"
Upon hearing Melody's question, Wendy lifted her chin and smiled smugly. "It seems like you're not as indifferent as you claim to be. Let me tell you; Claudia is the one Lucas loves. It's just a shame that she had a ruthless sister! Claudia was killed by her sister, all for the sake of monopolizing Lucas. Haha, the person Lucas truly loves has long been dead. No matter how much he tells you he loves you, his one true love will always be Claudia. You should understand that the living can never compete with the dead."

"You're making all this up, aren't you? You shouldn't make baseless accusations without evidence, you know!" Melody pretended not to m believe, which immediately angered Wendy. Wendy grabbed Melody by the throat and viciously asked, "Are you doubting my intelligence? You know nothing. Stop pretending to be
superior. I hate seeing your
disgusting face the most." She
coughed. "You have no evidence, so
