The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Chapter 1414

'Logical? Logical, his ass!' lan was itching to take a swing at the journalist.

Silence befell the place as the crowd seemed eager to watch what would happen.

The question had been on many journalists' minds, but due to the influence Bella held, they could never ask. Now that someone had stuck his neck out, they did not mind him taking the brunt. Burning with rage, Justin gripped the car handle to get out, but Bella held him from behind.

"Hey! It's chaotic enough as it is. Don't add to it!"

Justin gnashed his teeth, his voice harboring fury. "But he's slandering you."

"So what? It's just sticks and stones. We are grown-ups. Keep it together, Mr. Salvador." Bella scratched his ribs with a pout.

Justin pulled himself together, but he was still seething. "I can't just let it go, though. The reporter might be working for the Iversons."

"So what?"

Bella batted her eyelashes, not at all bothered. "It's over for Charles. We finally sought justice for the girls. I've done what I came here to do. I don't care what those people say."

"Bella, don't make me feel like I'm useless." Justin felt a lump in his throat.

"How are you useless? I'm so happy when I am with you. All my worries melt away."

Bella rested on his heaving chest and cupped his face.

"Pucker up."

Justin ran his hand along her waist and back as they locked tongues.

He did not feel comfortable when others flirted. Heck, he even skipped the mushy scenes in movies. However, he was tamed by Bella.

She took his breath away, and he was no longer himself.

Maybe he had always been capable of intense love and possessiveness. The moment he met her, he no longer had eyes for anyone else.

"See. You're not useless."

With a mesmerizing gloss in her eyes, Bella slipped away from his lips. "That is what it takes for all my worries to leave me."

Meanwhile, tan, a professional

secretary to the President of

Salvador Corporation, had to put

aside his feelings and compose himself in the face of the press's malicious question.

Besides, nothing took precedence over bringing the victims and families home safely. Justin and Bella gave him an important task, and the last thing he wanted to do was mess up.

"Just ignore him, Ms. Mead. Come on."

In a moment of haste, lan grabbed Rachel's cold hand.

However, Rachel stood there, frozen.

Rachel took off her cap and mask in front of everybody.

lan's mind went blank, and his chest tightened.

It was too late to stop her.

"What is Rachel trying to do?" Bella's and Justin's eyes widened in disbelief.

Though engulfed by the blinding flashes, Rachel tried to open her red-rimmed eyes without fear or hesitation.

Rachel stared sternly at the male journalist and pressed. "Are you asking because of your suspicion? Do you have proof that you know what Ms. Thompson is thinking?"

The male journalist stumbled for words. "Um... I made a deduction..."
