The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Justin got an earful out of nowhere.
"I was wrong, Bella. I should have known better than to drink too much. I was out of line." Axel owned up to his mistake, not
wanting to yell at his sister.
"So you kissed Roza because of the alcohol? Hmph! Men are irresponsible flirts!"
"No..."
Axel closed his eyes and shook his head. "I was conscious and aware when I kissed her. I like her, Bella, but she doesn't feel the
same way about me. We're not meant to be. Besides, she doesn't want to get married, and she's just after the thrill. We don't
share the same perspectives on life. I doubt our relationship will get far even if we get together. I'm sorry for not being able to
give you a sister-in-law." "Axel!"
Without another word, Axel left the villa in dejection.
"Bella, I'll see Axel out."
Axel's hailed ride had arrived, but Justin stopped him just before he got into the car.
"Hang on, Axel. I just need a quick word with you."
Axel was surprised. "What's up?"
"It can take time and effort to bond. Even though the feelings aren't mutual in the beginning, you can always put your best foot
forward if you really like Ms. Walker. Maybe she will open up to you eventually. Try not to give yourself any room for regrets,"
Justin persuaded.
Axel narrowed his eyes. "Why didn't you fall in love with Bella in the three years you were married?"
Justin choked.
Axel was definitely in the right line of work. He hit where it hurt the most. "It took quite a bit of life-threatening situations and
chaos before you two reconciled." "But I won her heart back, didn't I?"
Justin swallowed hard. "If you put your mind to it and hang on... Look, I might sound like I'm mocking you. Well... I am, but that's
not all."

Axel breathed out frustratedly, his
eyes downcast. "I don't have your strong will. Anyway, I don't want things to turn out more complicated than they already are.
Bella can be the only carefree romantic in the house We don't need another one. It takes a lot of guts to give to much to a
partner. You're lucky, Justin, but not everybody is happy to walk the same path as you. I can live with just making the world a
safer place and fulfilling my mother's last wish to keep by Bella's side."
The driver popped his head out impatiently. "Are you coming in or what?"
"I'm coming."
Axel waved Justin off with a stoic face and climbed into the vehicle. His ride swiftly disappeared into the night. Justin stood there
blankly, his brows furrowed.
The fun stretched late into the night, but as the clock ticked, it was time to go.
Steven took Amelia home, while lan drove Rachel back. Arnold insisted that Asher send him back.
"It's only 11:00 p.m. You're a grown,
six-foot man with a consistent gym routine. I think you are more than capable of getting home yourself Asher's husky voice
reflected callousness. He was still displeased with Arnold's impropriety under the table tonight.
"But I drank. My head is spinning. Are you really going to let me leave on my own? What if I was robbed or molested on my way
home? Even boys aren't safe alone on the
streets. Oh... I feel so dizzy
With a hand over his forehead, Arnold leaned on Asher and sighed.
He sure was a drama queen.
Asher kept his eyes down, refusing to cast a glance at Arnold.
"Ash, you should drive Arnold back."
