The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Hunter, a grown man in his thirties, was still seeking his father's protection when faced with trouble. If outsiders were to see this,
they would have a good laugh!
"Amelia and I genuinely love each other. What you said is utter nonsense and slander!" Steven's eyes were full of indignation,
but his words were righteous and forceful. It was as if they were fiercely debating back in court.
"Everything I did was of my own free will. No one forced or coerced me!"
"I support Ms. Bella and Mr. Salvador because they speak for the underprivileged in society. Their hearts are pure, and they
follow the righteous path! Unlike you, who help the wicked and seek only profit! You deserve your downfall today. It's a result of
your evil deeds that are coming back to haunt you!"
"Dad! Mom! Do you hear what he is saying?!" Hunter's arrogance disappeared abruptly in front of Steven. He began to act
pitifully in front of their parents, trying to clear his name and pressure Steven.
"I am a lawyer. A lawyer's duty is to win cases for their clients! Just because my client opposes you, does that mean that you are
the good guy and I am the villain?
"Even without me, the Salvador family would have hired someone else to represent Shannon. Does that make everyone who
defends them evil? I think Bella has brainwashed you! You are just a puppet, following their commands!"
Amelia stood outside and listened to the unrestrained argument unfolding. She felt as if her entire body was frozen, a chilling
cold spreading throughout her.
Chelsea was overwhelmed when she heard terms like brainwashing and puppet. Her face turned pale as she clutched her chest,
struggling to breathe. "What kind of sin has our Lovett family committed? Why must our family be tormented like this?"
Hunter continued to sow discord while comforting his mother, acting like a two-faced hypocrite.
"Steve, I know you want to please your girlfriend, and I understand you want to curry favor with the Thompson family. But you
cannot turn against your own family! I am your elder brother. How can you forsake our bond for a woman?"
Steven's chest burned with anger, crackling like a fire. Just as he was about to speak, Neil, who had remained silent, suddenly
said, "Steve, is Ms. Amelia outside? She is Chairman Thompson's daughter, which makes her an honored guest. It is not proper
to leave a guest standing outside. Please invite her in."

"Neil, you...!" Chelsea's brows furrowed, her displeasure evident.
Steven knew well that his parents did not like Amelia. Despite their long relationship, his parents had never once mentioned
wanting to meet Amelia. But now, his father had relented, so how could he not feel overjoyed?
Steven immediately ran outside, taking Amelia's shivering hand, his eyes filled with happiness. He brought her in with a beaming
smile.
Neil stared intently at Steven, his brow furrowing deeper. His son was clearly head-over-heels in love with Amelia. As a man
himself, he could see the intense, overflowing love in his son's eyes.
"Hello, Uncle Neil, Aunt Chelsea." Amelia released Steven's hand and gracefully bowed to his parents. Her demeanor was
elegant and respectful, clearly indicating her well-bred upbringing by Wyatt and Celeste.
The carefully prepared words Neil had in mind suddenly became unspeakable the moment he saw Amelia. No matter what he
said, it would seem too cruel for this beautiful, doll-like girl. "Aunt Chelsea, how are you feeling?"
