Had too many oysters? My foot! You crazy girl... A feast of oysters wasn’t enough?!”
...
The oysters really packed a punch.
That night, Ryan pinned Carrie beneath him multiple times, sweating and laboring, while she could only cry and beg for mercy.
“Honey... When will you bless me with a bunch of little pandas?”
As they reached the peak of their passion, Ryan’s hot lips brushed against Carrie’s flushed ear, coaxing and teasing her.
Sweat drenched through Carrie’s delicate body. She then wrapped her slender legs around his narrow waist, accentuating his
perfect V-line. She endured his passionate love. Yet her eyes remained vacant, he mind elsewhere.
After Wyatt’s condition stabilized, he grew weary of the daily smell of disinfectant and could not wait to return to Yara Park to
recuperate.
Asher spent a fortune converting a large room into a makeshift hospital room.
He even bought a million-dollar treatment device for his father. The attending physician was none other than Arnold.
Wyatt looked around the room, his thick eyebrows furrowing in anger. “Asher!
What is wrong with you?!”
Asher was momentarily stunned.
Standing behind him, Arnold silently worried, embodying the concern of a devoted wife.
With a silver tongue, Axel scratched his head. “Dad, what’s wrong with Ash?
Aren’t you the one who’s sick?”
“Damn you!” Wyatt raised his hand, ready to smack his second son.
Asher quickly stepped in front of his brother, his lips curling into a faint smile.
“Dad, calm down. Let’s talk this over.”
“I came home from the hospital to be at home, but you’ve turned our house into a hospital. Why did I even bother coming back
then?!” Agitated from being bedridden for days, Wyatt was irritable as he had not fully recovered from his illness.
Unbothered, Asher smiled lightly. “Dad, Ax was just joking with you.”
Arnold naturally chimed in, “Yeah, Dad. Axel was just joking.”
Upon hearing that, everyone went silent.
What?!
Wyatt looked bewildered, staring fixedly at Arnold. “What... Did you just call me?”
Arnold froze in embarrassment. As everyone’s eyes were on him, his heart pounded as if he were naked under an X-ray.
His thoughts spilled out uncontrollably. ‘What should I do?!’
Asher cleared his throat. His usual calm demeanor was shaken for the first time, and his fingers were m clenched tightly. “Dr.
Larson has been in Hatchbay for a while now, constantly helping us out. Seeing you so often must have reminded him of home.”
“Yeah, yeah...” Arnold nodded vigorously, his heart in his throat.
Instead of suspecting something, Wyatt looked immensely grateful.
“Arnold, you’ve helpedus so much these days. it must ve been tough for you l owe you a big one. If there’s a chance in the
future, I’ll repay you generously.”
“Chairman Thompson, you’re so kind for that.”
Arnold’s eyes, full of ambiguous emotions, drifted to Asher’s handsome profile, “Since AuntMila is your wife and l Care deeply for
her, I’m also a part of your family. Helping you is simply my duty.” Asher smoothly covered up this small slip, and no one thought
much of it.
However, Mila, who stood behind the strikingly compatible pair, noticed one was blushing at the ears and the other at the cheeks.
Her eyes darkened with suspicion.
