The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Lance was having heart palpitations, as if he would go into cardiac arrest.
"You... James, you're so useless!" Lance yelled.
James looked at his phone in disbelief. Everyone seemed to have sided with Christopher. He was so stressed that he nearly lost
grip of his phone.
"Christopher, was it you?! You must have leaked the news!"
"James, can you clear your head at a time like this?" Christopher shook his head with a wry smile.
"What benefit would I gain from leaking this? What good would it do to the Iverson Group? Just to mess with you? Wouldn't that
just be like shooting myself in the foot? Besides, do I really need to mess with you? It seems like you're doing a good job of
making a mess of things on your own."
James was absolutely livid and exploded in anger. "Christopher! You're so despicable!"
Behind Christopher's stylish glasses, his eyes flashed with a sinister glint. In a place where Lance couldn't see, his sinister
provocations were fully revealed.
Lance rubbed his temples, a look of frustration crossing his face. "Who had the audacity..."
Christopher immediately explained, "That news channel is managed by the KS Group. The media not only receives funding from
the KS Group but also has backing from international investors. We have no control over them. That's why they dared to defy us
and shamelessly expose this matter."
Lance's last trace of suspicion for Christopher vanished completely. His eyes widened in fury, while his neck turned red with
anger.
"Wyatt... I've saved your life before, and we've been brothers for thirty years... Yet, you're willing to ruin me over such trivial
matters! This is unbelievable!"
Christopher whispered, "Dad, from what I know, Chairman Wyatt was previously ill and had been unconscious for several days.
He probably didn't have time to deal with this matter. I suspect this is Asher's doing. After all, Asher was the one who transferred
the land to James. He might have planned this out long ago."

Christopher was aware that Bella had orchestrated this. However, he still held onto the fantasy that he would be able to marry
her one day, so he hoped that Bella could leave a good impression on Lance.
"Asher!!!"
Lance was so angry that he felt lightheaded. He pounded his fist on the coffee table and screamed, "Just wait! Everyone in the
Thompson family better be prepared! I'll get even with them!"
Christopher advised, "Dad, please calm down first. At the moment, we need to resolve this trouble."
"Christopher, how do you think we should handle this matter?" Lance's disappointment in James was written all over his face. He
didn't even want to look at James, only holding onto Christopher's hand while speaking.
"I think... You should give James another chance." Christopher suddenly spoke up for James.
"After all, James is the CEO of Iverson Group. If he steps forward to resolve this crisis now, it could also help him regain some
credibility within the company. So, it's better to trust him once again."
Back at Pivotage, the scene was unchanged, filled with revelry and debauchery.
Christopher sat on the luxurious crimson velvet sofa. He sipped on wine while observing several high-ranking officials in Savrow
indulge in the pleasures of wine, women, and wealth.
"Mr. Iverson, once you take control of Iverson Group, these people will be like icing on the cake for you in the future." Yvonne
was massaging his shoulders from behind, while Taylor was happily attending to him.
Christopher chuckled. "After investing so much, it's only fair to expect some returns, isn't it?"
"Please forgive my ignorance, but there's something I just can't understand. Why did you speak up for James at such a critical
moment?"
