The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

"I checked the value of the antique, and it is more than double what you last gave to him. It shows just how much he values you."
Christopher was filled with joy. "He is always so extraordinary and generous."
"Moreover, he also sent the medicine you requested and left a message saying that whatever is given to you is yours to handle
as you wish. You may give it to whoever you want."
Christopher understood the meaning between the lines, and his expression behind his gold-rimmed glasses became difficult to
read.
Taylor continued, "Also, as per your instructions, I have privately contacted the mayor of Terranova and two influential legislators
in the political scene. You can fly to Terranova at your convenience to meet with them."
"You did very well."
At this moment, Christopher's gaze inadvertently swept downstairs to the lavish scene. Coincidentally, Yvonne was sitting like a
beautiful sculpture in the corner.
She used to be enchanting and radiant. Now, she exuded a cold, detached feeling of loneliness that annoyed Christopher
greatly.
"In the next few days, I have matters to attend to. Let Yvonne meet the guests for me first." Christopher's eyes turned icy.
Taylor was startled. "Ms. Smith alone? Do you mean to let her..."
"Some officials are greedy for money, while others are lusting for power. But in my decades in the business world, I have never
seen a man who is not interested in women." Christopher's tone dripped with disdain and ridicule. "A man as self-righteous as
Justin, do you think he cares about Bella for any other reason than her beauty?"
Taylor echoed, "You are right. That Justin is just another lecher! Ms. Thompson is wasted on a pig like him!"
"I am different from Justin. I love Bella for her soul. I have been by her side since we were kids. I understand her, cherish her,
and know her far better than Justin ever would."
Christopher slowly closed his eyes, and the image of Bella's radiant smile and beautiful eyes appeared before him. 'Bella,
whether you love me or not, it does not matter, will be with you until I die.'

Bella was so furious upon learning that Christopher had become the CEO of Iverson Group that she lost her appetite for dinner
and could not sleep half the night. She finally drifted off around 4:00 am, nestled into Justin's muscular arm, still fuming.
Lately, Justin has been busy commuting between Savrow and Hatchbay. As he was no longer in his twenties, he fell into a deep
sleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.
"Ah!"
Bella's crisp scream abruptly woke Justin from his slumber.
"Bella! What's wrong?"
He quickly opened his eyes, fully awake. He anxiously pulled Bella's delicate, soft body into his arms.
"I... I... I made a mess of the bed..."
Bella pouted her cherry-red lips, her fair cheeks blushing, and rubbed her dejected nose against his firm chest.
"The sheets, the quilt... My pajamas... They're all dirty. Ugh, it's so uncomfortable... So annoying!"
"Dirty? How did they get dirty?"
Having just woken up, Justin was still somewhat dense. He asked in surprise and seriousness, "You didn't wet the bed, did you?"
