The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

"Aunt Mila."
The air hung heavy with a suffocating silence.
Gritting her teeth, Mila stared at Aaron's smirking face.
She knew that his use of "aunt" was not to show her respect. Instead, he would not come off as mean and would keep up
appearances as the good eldest grandson.
"It's been two days since Grandpa stormed off to bed in a rage. He hasn't eaten anything since finding out what Arnold did. You
can imagine his anger."
Aaron's piercing gaze was icy. "The last time Grandpa was so angry was when you insisted on being with Chairman Thompson.
You knew Chairman Thompson was married, but you humiliated yourself and your family to be Chairman Thompson's side
piece."
He labeled Mila insultingly.
Mila went white, but she did not back down.
She was no longer part of the Larson family. No one could tear her down.
Bella shook with rage.
She was furious at that point in time. Blood rushed to her head.
Justin furrowed his brows and locked fingers with Bella.
He had a good read of the situation. Due to Wyatt's relationship with Mila, the Larsons held animosity toward the Thompsons.
Arnold yelled furiously, "That's enough, Aaron! I'm going back with you. What more do you want?"
Aaron put his finger in front of Arnold's face with a frown. "Shut up! It's not your place to talk."

Bella gave Aaron a dirty look.
It dawned on her why Arnold would rather build a career abroad on his own than go back to the Larson family and take his
career to new heights through his family.
The Larsons drained the life of Arnold.
"Can you be any more foolish?"
Sasha broke free from Celeste and Amelia and darted toward Aaron angrily.
However, Steven managed to get in her way. Only a 6-foot-tall man could stop her.
Aaron turned to Mila with a smirk. "Aunt Mila, Dad sent me here to take Arnold back and pass a message to you. He said that
since you were dead set on breaking ties with the family, you should keep to your word. Stop trying to look for excuses and ways
to squirm your way back in.
"Back when Ms. Bella miscarried and was close to having her entire uterus removed due to a rupture, you kneeled outside
Grandpa's courtyard in the snowstorm for three whole days on a hunger strike. He gave you the drug to save MS. Bella only
because you were once his favorite daughter. Have you forgotten that?"
The air was thick with tension.
The sensation of pain flooded Bella's senses.
Justin's eyes widened. The taste of blood surged up his throat.
He buried his head low and closed his red-rimmed eyes in agony as his chest felt heavy.

"It's okay." A whisper echoed in his ear.
Bella gripped his cold hands, her voice strained. "It's okay, Justin. It's all in the past."
It only pained him further to see her make light of her past hurt.
It took him until now to realize that his indifference and cruelty caused Bella to lose their only child and her privilege of being a
mother.
He nearly left her damaged.
Mila, Sasha, and Celeste knew about the whole thing, but the rest of the family was left in the dark.
"Bella..." Amelia was the first to break into tears. Sensitive, she covered her mouth as tears rolled down her cheeks. In the end,
she cried in Steven's arms.
While consoling Amelia, Steven teared up as well.
"Enough, Aaron!" Mila had an outburst.
"Dad wanted me to relay the message. Otherwise, I wouldn't even come here and waste my breath with you."
Aaron lifted his chin arrogantly and eyed Mila's discolored face. "Your actions are on you. No one forced you to take an oath. You
begged and pleaded, nearly losing your life, to get help from Grandpa. You should take a hint instead of pushing your luck."
He had no respect for his elders.
Aaron took pride in being part of the Larson family. He was highly favored in the family, so he could follow through with his words.

"Arnold is young and impressionable. He doesn't know his boundaries. If you really love him, dead him astray and put him in a
difficult spot, Aunt Mila."
Aaron scoffed and walked out.
"Hold it right there!"
Bella stopped him.
