The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

In the darkness, Asher's neck and ears turned completely red.
His breathing grew heavier as he slowly raised his hand, his hot palm landing on Arnold's smooth abdomen, gently caressing the
impossibly soft skin that seemed unfit for a man. "So, do you still think this is a dream now?"
Arnold shivered as if electrified, finally leaning in with passion, cupping Asher's face, and kissing him fiercely.
Their intertwined shadows and intimate sounds filled the room with an air of sensuality.
"Ash, please... Let me stay with you. I don't need anything else... Just let me stay with you. Even if we can never be open about
it or even if we can never see the light of day, it doesn't matter." Asher's dark eyes shimmered with a faint, tender light,
overflowing with love.
He could not hide it anymore, nor could he endure any longer.
Asher knew exactly what he was doing. He was more clear-headed than ever before.
"From now on, I'll be your little fox. Yours alone..."
With tears in his eyes, Arnold nestled against Asher's bare but firm chest, feeling happier than ever.
Recently, Christopher had been busy handling the troubles the Thompsons brought to the Iverson Group.
The problems with the resort project in Terranova required a lot of effort to resolve. Christopher publicly dispatched
representatives to visit and generously compensate the injured and the families of the deceased. He also arranged for extensive
media coverage to help restore the Iverson Group's image.
However, he also secretly bribed the officials handling the case in Terranova, ensuring they would downplay the negative impact
and not let it disrupt the project's future.
This involved significant sacrifices from Yvonne.
Although Christopher no longer required Yvonne to sell her body after the Maxwell incident, she still had to navigate the corrupt
and lecherous circles of high-ranking officials and powerful men, securing benefits for him in any way she could.
This was her last remaining value to him.

She had no other options.
Having lost her value as Bella's stand-in, losing this final purpose would mean Christopher would abandon her entirely.
When others abandoned someone, it often meant discarding them to the side.
However, Christopher's abandonment meant destruction.
Yvonne had endured a difficult life, fighting with all her might to survive. She wanted to live well and avoid a tragic end.
Tonight, Christopher returned from a business trip to Meridan with a particularly grim expression.
As soon as he stepped through the doors of Pivotage, Yvonne started shivering and quickly stepped back.
"Mr. Iverson..."
Christopher's cold gaze bore into her. Yet, it seemed as if he was looking through her at someone he could never possess. "Mr.
Iverson, Ms. Smith did a really good job for you in Terranova."
Upon seeing the situation, Taylor quickly tried to smooth things over. "Mr. Iverson, those officials in Terranova agreed to support
you thanks to Ms. Smith's persuasion."
"Persuasion? Or seduction?" Christopher sneered contemptuously.
Yvonne lowered her head, staring at the tip of her red high heels, her throat tight with emotion.
Taylor forced a smile. "Ms. Smith is the key figure at Pivotage. She has managed it efficiently over the years, building
connections they Savrow. You've seen her efforts yourself. Ms. Smith has excellent negotiation skills and tactics. It's all thanks to
your guidance, Mr. Iverson."
“This place is nothing but a tavern and brothel. If it weren't for my greater plans, would I even care about a place like this?"
Christopher's gaze softened slightly as he shifted his eyes away from can't Yvonne's flushed face. "If she ever do this well, she
might as well die and not waste any more air."

Taylor glanced at Yvonne, unsure of what more to say.
"Heh, no. She might be useful beyond managing this place."
Christopher turned toward Yvonne, his expression darkening as he approached her step by step.
"What do you think if I gave her to Mr. Salvador? How do you think he'll react to a woman who looks so similar to Bella?”
