The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Grant kept his word. A week later, Justin got his hands on the medication.
Justin was on edge throughout a crucial meeting at the Salvador Corporation.
As soon as the meeting ended, he shot up like a spring-loaded lever and hurriedly left, leaving his top executives bewildered.
"Mr. Salvador... What's going on?"
"Ahem... Probably nature calls. If it were me, I wouldn't even be able to hold it so long. Mr. Salvador's kidneys are really
something!"
"His bladder is impressive too!"
Today, KS Group also had an important board meeting that Wyatt had to attend.
However, the medicine given by Christopher had run out, and the Larson family took away Arnold, who could have helped.
Wyatt's declining health became increasingly apparent. Over the past two days, Wyatt has felt physically drained. He yawned
incessantly and had a runny nose and drowsiness. He even slept through last night without having dinner. Concerned about his
health and fearing he might not wake up early enough, Wyatt had to reschedule the meeting for the afternoon.
However, even with multiple alarms set, he only managed to wake up after his secretary and daughter woke him up.
"Chairman Thompson? Chairman Thompson?!"
"Dad!"
"Wyatt!"
Struggling to open his eyes, Wyatt saw Bella, Mila, and Quentin standing by his bed.
"What time is it now?"
Hearing her father's weak voice, Bella felt her heart clench. She tightly held his cold hand.

"It's almost noon. Wyatt, you've already skipped breakfast. You can't skip lunch as well. Your body won't hold up that way." Mila
looked at the man's sunken face with pity. As Wyatt tried to sit up, he suddenly felt dizzy and collapsed again.
"Wyatt!"
Cold sweat covered Bella's forehead. She immediately held her father's wrist and took his pulse.
The pulse was erratic. Something was definitely wrong.
However, she was not a neurologist like Arnold.
Although she understood some medical principles, her expertise was in surgery. At this moment, she felt really helpless, with
nowhere to apply her strength. "Dad, you need to go to the hospital right now!" Bella furrowed her delicate brows, her voice
hoarse with urgency.
"I'm not going!" Wyatt refused firmly.
"Then cancel the board meeting at once!"
"Impossible!"
Wyatt yanked his hand away, gritting his teeth stubbornly. "Even if I have to crawl... I'll make sure I attend that meeting!"
"You old man! Please just listen to me!" Reaching her limit, Bella spoke to Wyatt as if scolding a child. "You can barely sit up
now, and you're still trying to act tough?! Is showing up at that pointless meeting more important than your health? Is that more
important than your life?!"
Bella's fierce outburst left Mila and Quentin stunned. In the entire Hatchbay, only Bella dared to speak to Wyatt this way.

"You naive girl... What do you even know?"
Wyatt tried to muster his strength, but he was already all sweaty. "There was an uproar the last time! got admitted to the hospital,
with all kinds of nasty rumors flying around the company. If I get admitted again now, our business rivals will Seize the
opportunity to grab our business resources... It might even lead to bigger problems!"
"So what? If they want those resources, let them have it all. We can always earn the money again!"
Bella's trembling hands pressed firmly on his shoulders, her gaze intense and unwavering. "Dad! From now on, focus on your
health and well-being. That's more important than anything else! KS Group will never collapse as long as I'm around. Anyone
trying to benefit from our family during this crisis is simply dreaming!"
"You stubborn girl... Do you really think you're all that?"
Wyatt scolded Bella, but his eyes reddened. "Your old man isn't about to retire early. If you want me to waste away at home
doing nothing, you might as well let me die!"
It was not the allure of power that allured Wyatt.
Instead, he simply wanted to keep working for a few more years to ease the burden on his children, allowing them to pursue their
passions without restraint.
If he were to fall one day, the entire weight of the conglomerate would come crashing down on them, especially on his eldest
son, Asher, and his chosen successor, Bella. They might never get to enjoy such carefree days again.
"Today's meeting... I have to attend it, no matter what. No one can stop me from attending it!"

Bella was furious to the point of madness.
She could not understand why Wyatt was so stubborn.
Mila's expression was grave, her mind full of doubts.
She had a feeling that Wyatt's abnormal physical condition might be due to the medication Christopher sent.
However, Arnold had tested the medicine and confirmed it was appropriate for his condition, not poison.
So, were Wyatt's symptoms-runny nose, dizziness, and lethargy-just side effects caused by the medication? Just then, someone
knocked on the door.
