The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

"Why did you go through all this trouble? You could've just ordered takeout for something like this. You don't have to wear
yourself out."
"It's not tiring at all. What matters most is that you like it."
Justin wrapped his strong arms around her slender waist and looked gratefully at Drew.
"Besides, I didn't do much. It was all Drew's hard work."
"Oh. Please make sure it's extra crispy, Drew."
Pfft-!
Drew almost spat out his drink. He clutched his chest in mock agony.
With Drew's amazing cooking skills and Justin's assistance, two plates of golden, fragrant fried chicken were soon on the table.
Meanwhile, Justin's failed attempts sat sadly in the corner, like neglected babies.
"Hurry, Bella. Come and try my cooking!"
Drew leaned on the table, smiling as he watched his sister's eyes light up with anticipation. "It's been so long since I last cooked
for you. Tell me if my skills have gone down."
Bella picked up a piece of chicken with her hand and took a big bite.
The crunch echoed in the room.
"It's delicious! Drew, your cooking is still as amazing as ever!" Bella exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with satisfaction.
Drew smiled with relief.
Suddenly, the image of a face similar to Bella's flashed through his mind.
The other night, he had safely escaped from Pivotage with Yvonne's help.
He wondered what had happened to Yvonne after he left. Did Christopher find out what she did? Had that scoundrel made things
difficult for her when she went to stall James for him?

Although Drew despised Christopher and was wary of Yvonne's identity, last night's events made him more curious about her.
He did not believe there could be a good person in Christopher's circle.
However, Yvonne did not seem like a bad person either.
"Hey! Bella, don't eat that!"
Justin's eyes widened. He tried to stop her, but it was already too late.
The little woman cheerfully bit into one of his burnt pieces of chicken, savoring it without any complaints.
"Mmm... It's not even that bad."
"Bella, stop eating that." Justin hurriedly grabbed her hand. "You don't have to compliment me for something like this. I know it's
not good."
"It's not even that bad. Anything made with care can't be that bad."
Bella then picked up another piece and ate it contentedly. "Besides, no matter what color it is, it all ends up in the same place.
Right, Drew?"
Justin's lips curled into a gentle smile. He could not further resist his urge and planted a kiss on her greasy lips.
Drew clutched his chest again, unable to bear the sight.
He regretted coming back home.
What was he doing here?
"We've made so much food, and I can't possibly eat it all. Luckily, Axel and Ralph are home. I'll call them to join us," Bella said as
she picked up her phone.
