The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

There was nothing but silence from Axel's side.
Roza dared not glance in his direction. Her heart was aching so intensely that it felt like it might stop altogether. She felt like
there was no one who could accept her. Even Axel, who had a pure heart, was no exception.
A stifling silence hung in the air for a while. Roza took a deep breath, forcing a laugh through her tears. "Yes, I am the illegitimate
daughter, the daughter of Cole Walker's mistress. Our Walker family is like a dramatic family ethics show that's full of twists and
turns."
She continued, "Wendy, you're about to be engaged to the son of the Sully family, right? When I meet my new brother-in-law, I'll
make sure he understands our family's situation well. Knowing each other's background will help us get along harmoniously in
the future."
The words stunned both Regina and Wendy into silence. The more Roza laughed, the angrier they became. This little wretch
had decided to shamelessly confront them.
"So, tell me," Roza continued with biting sarcasm. "What business do you have today with me, the long-lost illegitimate
daughter?"
Roza had been holding back moments ago, but now she threw caution to the wind. She glanced at her watch, her slender eyes
filled with cold arrogance. "Hurry up. My time is very valuable."
"Wendy is getting engaged. Your father wants you to make two sets of dresses for your sister," Regina gritted her teeth, trying to
keep her cool.
"Oh, sorry, but my schedule is fully booked this month, next month, and the month after that.," Roza replied calmly.
Regina's gaze turned cold. "Roza, are you going to refuse your father's orders too?"
Roza met her gaze fearlessly. "So what if it's my father? Even if the president comes, I wouldn't do it."
Wendy was so angry that her chest ached. "You!"
"Mrs. Walker, do you think I'm an idiot?" Roza, who was taller than the middle-aged woman, looked down at her. "You and your
daughter just teamed up to humiliate me. Now you expect me to do you a favor? How could you be so thick-skinned?"

"You insolent brat! You're absolutely outrageous!" Regina couldn't hold back any longer. She glared with bloodshot eyes and
raised her arm to slap Roza's face.
Roza's pupils contracted, and she clenched her fists tightly.
Suddenly, she sensed something flying toward them, cutting through the air with a fierce wind.
Smack-!
"Ah! It hurts so much!" Regina screamed in agony, sweat breaking out on her forehead as she clutched her swollen wrist.
Immediately after, the shattering sound of a teacup breaking filled the air-it was the cup that had knocked her hand away. "Mom!
Are you okay?!" Wendy gasped, her face turning pale with fright.
Regina's hand trembled with pain. "Who did that?!"
"I did." A clear and resonant voice rang out.
Roza suddenly looked up, her heart skipping a beat as tears welled up in her eyes.
Axel approached her without hesitation, his gaze intense as he looked into her pitifully red eyes.
There was no disdain, only deep concern and heartache.
Wendy's face twitched with jealousy
as she watched the handsome man and her sister lock eyes deeply. Weren't they supposed to be strangers? But the way this
man looked at that little brat, why was it so tender and affectionate?
"You... You hit me? Why did you hit me?!" Regina's voice quivered with rage. Although she was angry, she felt more fear in the
presence of this imposing man. én.swnovels.net
"Then why did you hit her?" Axel glared coldly at Regina's flushed face, his words sharp as a knife. "Is it because you look like
an old monster after all the plastic O surgeries and botox?"
