The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

"Yes, Mr. Hoffman."
Yasmin understood and went to change the bed sheets.
There were maids in the villa, but Ryan only trusted Yasmin to be near such a private and personal space as his bedroom and to
set it up.
The heavy and luxurious velvet curtains were still drawn, and the dimly lit space was filled with the lingering scent of passion and
entanglement after sex.
Yasmin glanced at the messy bed, her expression joyful.
It looked like the couple had a steamy night the night before.
Once Ryan left, she would have to massage Carrie's slim waist, which had endured quite the storm.
Yasmin swiftly replaced the sheets and duvet cover, then picked up the clothes Ryan threw all over the floor and put them into
the laundry basket.
Since Ryan expressed his intentions to marry Carrie to his family and officially asked for her hand from the Salvador family,
Yasmin had not seen a single condom.
She could see how much Ryan hoped Carrie would be pregnant with his child.
With them being so affectionate, it may not be long before Ryan fulfills his wish.
Yasmin just walked out of the room joyfully when Ryan's low voice sounded, "Yasmin, accompany Carrie at home to rest for the
next few days. Don't go to the Savrow Art Academy for now." "Mr. Hoffman, I..."
Yasmin was in a dilemma when the bathroom door suddenly swung open.
"No! I want to go to class! I don't want to stay home. I want to go to class!"
Ryan and Yasmin were stunned!
Carrie stood there, drenched and still radiating heat from the bath. She wore nothing but a towel on her delicate body, running
out with bare feet.

Ryan's heart tightened, and he immediately ran to her, removing his freshly changed suit to wrap it around her damp body.
The expensive suit, worth tens of thousands, became a bath towel.
Carrie's thin and delicate frame seemed more fragile under the oversized coat.
"Little fool... What if you caught a cold, running out like this?"
Ryan's eyes slightly reddened as he held her tightly. Carrie stood on tiptoes, feet almost leaving the ground. "Have you forgotten
what you promised me? You have to be good every day." Yasmin watched them, and while she was concerned about Carrie, she
was more worried about Ryan's situation.
Since Ryan was appointed as the
successor, he had to attend all types of social events to expand the Hoffman family's connections and travel overseas for project
loverseas
inspections frequently. He was no longer the carefree, rich boy who could just stay close to his wife.
Besides, Carrie had resumed a normal academy life. They barely had one or two nights in a week where they could spend time
together.
Coincidentally, after what happened yesterday, Ryan's nerves were like a bowstring stretched to its limit. It would either break
next or unleash a tremendous force.
"Why? Why won't you let me go to class?" Carrie stared straight into him, her eyes reddening from anxiety.
Ryan explained gently, "I didn't say you couldn't go. It's only temporary..."
"We are having an anniversary celebration in a few days, and there's a cultural performance. I've never participated in an activity
like this. I don't want to miss it!"
Carrie struggled in the man's arms. "I could finally live like a normal person... Finally, they're not looking at me like a monster!
Ryan, going to classes really makes me happy...I want to learn how to draw. Don't do this, okay? Don't strip this happiness away
from me, okay? Please..."
Strip away.

The heavy accusation was like two sharp blades that plunged into Ryan's ribs. He had always been the person who loved her
most and prided himself on being the architect of her future happiness. But he never expected that his consideration for her
seemed like deprivation in her eyes...
"Young Madam, you've misunderstood."
Yasmin quickly grabbed a towel and walked over to dry Carrie's wet hair. "Mr. Hoffman didn't mean that. It's just that, after what
happened, the academy must be in chaos. You can avoid classes for a few days and resume until things have settled down."
Carrie shook her head, as stubborn as an ox. "No need. I'm not afraid. If I don't go, everyone will know the one taken hostage
that day was me. When I return to class, people will look at me differently. Wouldn' my situation be even worse?"
Yasmin was speechless, secretly surprised by Carrie's meticulous thinking.
