“Earlier tonight, I went for another cosmetic procedure. Dr. Fairchild gave me an
injection, claiming that it would relax me even more than the medication I usually
take,” Shannon confessed, her hands
clutching her head and her eyes filled with panic.
Shannon's voice trembled, her gaze still unfocused. “After I got the injection, I felt
really relaxed and drifted off to sleep. When I woke up, Dr. Fairchild asked me
who Mary was.”
“Mom, what did you tell him? Who is Dr. Fairchild? How could you?”
