securing the partnership, yet we are already spending a fortune on a
pharmaceutical firm to present to Hugh as a gift. Don’t you think this is
ridiculous?” Jayden said.
“Well,” Caleb and the others were instantly rendered speechless as Jayden was
not wrong.
A business deal would always prioritize profits. The Morrisons were yet to secure
the partnership but were already planning to spend a fortune on a
pharmaceutical firm for Hugh.
This was quite a price to pay and from a business perspective, it was indeed

“Uncle, you shouldn’t think of it that way. A few hundred million isn’t a small
amount, but it’d all be worth it so long as we get to partner with Cynthion Group,”
Hugo said.
“That’s easy for you to say! Can you guarantee that we can partner with Cynthion
Group after all the money we spend?” Jayden sneered.
“Well, I can’t guarantee anything. But Mister Wolf’s a reasonable and caring
person! So long as we find him a suitable pharmaceutical firm, I’m pretty sure
that he’ll work with us!” Hugo said.
He knew that Caleb and the others’ arrogance enraged Leon. Even if they
acquired a pharmaceutical firm now, he could not guarantee that Leon
would agree to work with them.
